“I was surprisingly very impressed...service was great and they spaced tables out for social distancing. I was expecting the food to be overly fancy with little taste, but the catfish and grits plate was really delicious! My husband had the porkchop and it was also tasty. They have a nice wine selection and of course the view is nice. The decor inside the restaurant is really nice as well. Reservations seem to go quickly so I’m glad I was able to secure a table and give it a try. I’d definitely return.”

“Eclectic little shop. Wonderful atmosphere, great people serving us. We had the chicken salad, one on the croissant and one on the bed of lettuce. The homemade chicken salad was as good as it gets. We wanted some of the ice cream they served, but the salad/croissant we had filled us up with the more than generous portions. Needless to say, we will be back.”

“Okay so let me say! I definitely love the energy of this place! The coffee was amazing! I’m from Michigan and I was getting on the road to head home. I needed coffee and my friend stumbled across this coffee shop. Great thing she did! Amelia is a doll! I truly loved her! She made me a frozen cinnamon raisin frappe and the drink was gone before I left the shop. My friends loved their drink as well. I highly recommend this shop!”

“Our family is not from this area so when we looked for a good Ethiopian restaurant to visit this one came up with good reviews. We loved it! Our family loves to try Ethiopian food in every city we visit and many of them are not good but Kategna was one we would come back to again and again. The place was super clean and nice. The prices were fair and the staff was friendly. The quality of the food was fantastic. You know how sometimes when you go out you can tell the quality of the ingredients are less than desirable well that is not the case here. It tasted fresh. You can tell they take pride in providing quality food.”

I had it to-go but I still felt the love and authenticity 😊 The soup was slightly on the salty side but was still enjoyable. Salmon was glazed and charred; the flavors came together in an unexpected, pleasant way and paired beautifully with the cheesy pasta. Not too heavy either. Loved it, will be back!”
