Ruth's Chris Steak House

Great service and delicious steak made to your preferred level of doneness. Our waiter, Christopher was awesome. Recommend the creamed spinach as one of the side dishes. There is something for everyone here, if you are crazy enough to cone to a steak place but do not like steak, there are other meats and seafood...all delicious.

An excellent steakhouse located in the heart of Waikiki! Highly recommend reservations as they tend to book up the prime dinner time spots up to a week in advance!

This is one of 2 locations which are both very nice but I recommend Waikiki for a more business casual experience while the Downtown location ambiance is more formal though same menu

Outstanding place. NY Strip was amazing and the loaded baked potato was huge and also spectacular. Gregory at the bar was super friendly, attentive, and generally extremely good at his job. Gregory made the experience all the better, especially since he could talk sports????. My first time to Ruth's Chris and I'll be back for sure.

Everything from the moment we stepped in was perfect. Audrey was our server and was engaging, pleasant and worked her skill professionally. We had the crab cakes and french onion soup appetizers. They both were phenomenal. Our entrees were the Tbone steak, lobster tails, mashed potatoes and asparagus. The lobster melted in your mouth, the steak seasoned and cooked to perfection as was the asparagus!! The manager David introduced himself and checked our table twice as we as another young man.. I forgot his name. It was my pleasure to dine at this Ruth Chris and would highly recommend to anyone that is in the area!!

First time to Ruth's Chris Steak House and I had probably the BEST steak of my life! I ordered the 12oz filet, think it was about $56. I normally prefer a medium steak as some medium-rare steaks are on the chewy side. I asked the waiter what he recommended, medium-rare it was. The steaks come out on a plate that is sizzling hot (500 degrees according to the staff) and was cooked perfectly! The plate is so hot that if you want to cook some of the inside of your steak, you can slice a piece off and leave it on the plate for half a minute. The steak just melted in my mouth, fantastic and delicious!

So why 4 stars? The appetizers were overpriced and underwhelming. I ordered the crab stuffed mushrooms and someone else ordered the asparagus. They were okay...but for $24 an appetizer they should be amazing! If it wasn't for the app, I would have given 5 stars. I get that it is an expensive steak house, but don't overprice your run of the mill appetizers.
