Cafe Restaurant

“Went to this place for a quick coffee on our way back from Sandpoint on a Sunday, the aroma of food and the interesting menu motivated us to stay for brunch, and absolutely loved the result! Their food is fresh, lots of options to choose from, very reasonable pricing and provides a tastefully done interior. We ordered one veg wrap and one chicken wrap with added pesto. These were the best wraps I have had till date. So tasty, flavorful, fresh and filling. We also ordered some hazelnut mocha and some raspberry mocha (these were seasonal specialties) and loved them. This place is a must try in the area!”

Connie's Cafe & Lounge

Address: 323 Cedar St, Sandpoint, ID 83864, USA

Cafe Restaurant

“The atmosphere was excellent, you can tell this is a favorite of the locals, and as someone who is not a local I did not get the “outsider” vibe that so often appears in smaller towns. The service was pretty good, the server was friendly and as attentive as they were able to be during a high customer volume time (lunch rush). They avoided the old “how is everything?” when you have a mouthful of food, which I was very grateful and got them some extra brownie points (and a larger tip). The food was hot and I didn’t feel like I waited too long before it was brought out. The burger was a pretty good size and did not have too much of anything. The burger patty was slightly larger than the bun and still thick and juicy, but not like a grease burger where you need to use 500 napkins before you’re done eating. The bacon on the burger was a let-down! It was slightly over-cooked, and a couple of bits on the ends were so crunchy I thought I was chewing on a filling (I was not actually chewing on a filling). However, they did put, what I thought, to be a generous portion of bacon on the burger! The sweet potato waffle fries were very good. They look a bit dark in the picture, but I assure you they were not over-cooked. The coffee was hot and fresh, not too strong and no burnt flavor.”

Cafe Restaurant

“Love the nostalgic atmosphere. Real American diner feel. Building has lots of history and character. Food was good, large servings and hearty home made taste. Suitable for the place, I just prefer more quality to quantity. I would return and try some other dishes. Friendly and speedy service.”

The Brim Coffee Shop

Address: 830 Kootenai Cutoff Rd, Ponderay, ID 83852, USA

“The coffee is amazing!! I don't do any flavoring so the quality of the coffee is very important and this coffee was delicious. They also have several food options that are great as well. We will definitely be stopping by every time we're in town!!”

“Love this Starbucks! A gal named Stephanie was working last time and was super friendly and helpful! They were giving out temporary tattoos for pumpkin spice latte day and she helped my toddler cut one out and put it on. It made his day!”

Hoodoo Creek Cafe and Market

Address: 4156 Vay Rd, Priest River, ID 83856, USA

“I REALLY wanted to give this place more stars but I cannot justify it off this sole visit. We will revisit one more time to see if it was just an off night. We arrived around 7:15 feeling that was well enough time before the 8pm closing time for a light Supper. We ordered canned drinks while we perused the menu. It was pretty busy for one waitress to handle the mini rush so we were in no hurry. Some people arrived after us and received their food before we did ours. She had forgotten us. All in all it was 2 hours before we received our food and we spent the greater part of the/ evening there chatting with the owner as they began to shut down. The food was on par with typical bar food. We ordered a burger and fries and the taco special. The side salad was fresh but we could tell the beans and rice for the tacos were canned/boxed. The owner also admitted the chili is also canned even though a good quality one. The salsa although, was homemade by his wife and was very tasty! It's a bit out of the way for most but if you like the "off-the-beaten-path" locally owned and run places, don't be discouraged, as it's a great way to meet with more local people.”
