“So delicious! A fair price for a quality meal. I can't decide what I enjoyed more- the hamburger or the yummy sides. Will come again!”

“Not bad, just not good. Ordered brisket and pulled pork, got a 3-meat plate. Don’t know if that’s their way of up selling, but since we were charged for 3-meat we tried all 3. Extra item was ribs. Very tender, fall off the bone tender. Brisket was a bit thick cut, completely dry and not really even warm. Pulled pork was a generous helping, cool, not even room temp. The serving of jalapeño pinto beans were bland, having only 1 tiny bit of green in the bowl, possibly jalapeño but couldn’t prove it. The corn in the cob was dry and old. Don’t think it was even held in hot water. 5 stars? Sorry no even close. If you need BBQ and can’t make your own, I guess you could go here.”

“The waitress was very friendly and helpful. The Philly Cheesesteak was the best I had in a long time. The cheese was the perfect meltiness and the meat and veggies were good, too. I had their homemade chicken noodle soup for a side, but devoured it before I took a picture. The noodles were thick and dumpling-like. Yummy! My husband and son had the sausage and pepperoni pizza. Some of the best pizza of Idaho, which isn’t saying much, but I was pleasantly surprised. Basically they actually used good ingredients. If you actually like the slop chain stores try to pass as pizza in Bonners Ferry, you’ll think it’s amazing, but I’m from NY, so I have really high standards. All in all, a great experience. Maybe next time we’ll try some burgers.”

“As a driver I welcomed the opportunity to sit down, have someone else bring me supper. It’s an old style Mom&Pop. The whole building is old yes it’s true. But the people are awesome. It was Friday fish fry for me. A little greasy yes. But lip smacking good. Seats at the table are old. But the prices are decent. For OTR drivers there is limited parking but , the DOT lot is right next door and a well worn path leads right to this place. They had sweet old style Christmas music on the speaker’s which sounded good. “ The Red Head “ waitress is awesome !”

“The service was extremely slow except for drinks or shakes which sat there on the counter without your name ever being called. For a Sonic that was not your typical drive in type having seating indoors was nice. Since it’s very new it was clean and I’m sure their service will improve. The garlic butter burger was very buttery and garlicky. Too much so. The slinger chicken burger was juicy and delicious. When it comes to the Blast vs the Milkshake. The milkshake was wrong the first and second time. Not sure if this is normal but the milkshake seemed just like flavoured whipped cream. The Blasts were very thick and delicious. So not sure what happened with this milkshake. So to be sure get the blast. This was our first visit and we’ll give it another try in a few months to see if the service improves.”

“We really enjoyed our meal here. I read a review for the chicken fried steak (which I had been craving for days) so we stopped in. It was a few minutes before "dinner" but they accommodated me anyway. Best chicken fried steak I've had in years! And large portions, I had to take the leftovers home. The staff were exceptional, especially our server Megan. She was attentive, well knowledged, professional and friendly. Will definitely come back! Excellent customer service.”

“If you sit near the bar you may hear some loud foul language. We had the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and gravy. Oh My! So good. We also had the coconut shrimp, they were good too. The waitress was super nice and checked don us just the right amount of times.”

“Great pizza! I ordered the veggie lover’s to share with a friend and everything from the toppings to the crust was absolutely delicious. I can’t give a full five stars because I asked for half no onions and the entire pizza came with no onions. The staff member who rang up our order was also very frazzled. Still, I’d come back to try more menu items.”

“I am super picky with Mexican food and this place was honestly really good. Their rice and beans were awesome. We had fajitas and they came out steaming and we're just lovely and so good. I would say they could use some fresher chips. The service wasn't very friendly. Wasn't horrible but just no real smiles or interaction. We also had to move our plates to the edge of the table and they were sitting there for a while and we had very little room. This definitely isn't a fancy place but hey it's Bonners ferry. I really enjoyed the fajitas and I had a virgin pina colada that was good as well. Prices are average and not too expensive. Definitely check this place out if you are in the area.”

“Fun gift shop and quaint cafe located in a historic building. Everywhere I looked, I found fun little treasures that were gift worthy. The basement houses handpicked consignment clothing. The layout of the old hardware store was well preserved, giving the location an old-fashioned feel and made for a warm, welcoming environment. Coffee and carrot cake were delicious. I am sure main dishes are usually delicious as well, but ours was just so so the day we stopped. Maybe we just chose poorly given that we arrived close to lunchtime but purchased a premade breakfast item. My husband and I split one of the breakfast burritos sitting under a heat lamp. Because I asked if it was hot and was told yes, I didn't think about asking them to warm it up when it turned out to be luke warm at best. No fresh salsas were available. Salsa came in fast food restaurant style; individual plastic bags of cholula and the like. We hope to return soon for shopping and so I can give their food another try.”

“What fun to find this gem opening in our sweet downtown! I’m sitting having my cup of Roman Nose Peak Rooibos tea, while looking at Roman Nose (at home) …how cool is this! And Delicious! The girls were wonderful and knowledgeable. Highly recommend you visit soon. Get the history of the building, too, from 4th and 5th generation North Idahoans. ✨”

“Amazing little deli in Bonners Ferry, ID. The staff is extremely friendly and fills the building with positive energy. I ordered a sandwich, a scone, and coffee. Everything was ready within 10 minutes. All of the food was DELICIOUS. Hands down the best scone I've ever eaten. The Sandwich was on point as well. I 100% recommend this place to anyone in the area.”

“I ordered a pizza 1/2 cheese and 1/2 mushroom & olive. I also got a small order of bread sticks with marinara. Picked up my order and after I got home, I realized: no mushrooms on the pizza (it was just 1/2 cheese, 1/2 olives), and there was no marinara with the bread sticks. Both of those things were listed on the receipt that was taped to the box that I picked up. The food that is here is hot and tasty, it's just that they left 2 significant things off my order.”

“I want to thank you for having such a great little burger stop, I was on my way from Oregon via Naples to Kalispell, and got a little hungry and I saw your restaurant. A nice young lady greeted me and took my order promptly after receiving my food and jumping back in my rig, I eat it on the road, and I must say it was a very, very good fresh burger and fries. Your ladies did an excellent job and actually thank me as I left. I would highly stop there again on my way through. I had a single cheeseburger, bacon, fries, and a drink combo. 02/03/24 12:30pm ish.”

“Last minute call in reservation during winter travel was made with ease & tremendous friendliness. From our online search, Dodge Peak Lodge was chosen over chain accommodation as we support small business owners 1st, especially during non-peak times of the year. Late night arrival was accommodated easily; on a snowy night the room was Warmed, Clean & Comfortable. A sweet Lodge pup greeted me solo at 6:45am for some grab-n-go-goodies. We will definitely stay in the future. Happy Holidays”

“We love the Tavern! We have been multiple times for dinner and special occasions. The “dinner for two” is a fun one to share when celebrating! It’s always a great experience with fun dishes that aren’t your run-of-the-mill meals, all inspired by European cuisine. When we found out they are now offering breakfast daily and Sunday brunch, we were stoked!! And it didn’t disappoint. Delicious! Especially their biscuits and schnitzel!”

“The inside of this restaurant is not the typical Chinese restaurant - that is to say it's pretty plain inside. That said - I rate restaurants heavily on the 2 most important points: food quality and service. The food my wife and I ordered was all *very* good - and having had Chinese food all over the world I can say that the food here is what you'd expect - Chinese. The Beef and Broccoli I ordered was pleasantly garlicy, the egg rolls had good flavor, the egg drop soup very good, and the chicken with peapods very fresh. The service was prompt and friendly and the location and parking easily accessible. Worth a stop if you're in the area and like Chinese.”
