“This is by far the best Dairy Queen I've been to in the tri-state area. It was immaculately clean, the food was served fresh and with near unbelievable speed for any restaurant during their peak lunch time. We received our food within two minutes of ordering this last time and it was delicious. The staff is very friendly and helped to make our visit (along with all the other visits prior) a very pleasant one.”

“What a fab place! Quality competes with what you get in a big city, but the prices are much better. The aoli on our dinner was made from the owner’s ducks’ eggs, fresh that day! She was around chatting and made us so welcome. We were driving through and it was a great dinner stop.”

“Don't get to hung up on your meal until you've decided on desert. Just build around the desert. In fact order and eat your desert, then decide if you need anything else. I mean their food is good but...desert!”

“I used to live in Martinsville and frequented this wonderful restaurant. Everything they make is the best I've had- quesadillas, burgers, fish, and of course the pie... All so incredible. The owners are sweet and know their customers! I can't get myself to go anywhere else when I visit.”

“Delightful atmosphere for Mother's Day lunch! All of the food we had was really good. The variety was good, the food tasted homemade, and service was excellent given such a busy Mothers Day lunch hour. The dressing was delicious. The chicken, turkey and lightly fried fish were very perfectly cooked. The fish was tender and moist and very lightly breaded. Maybe the best I've had on a buffet. The homemade cinnamon bread and cinnamon butter was fresh and so good. Desserts were varied with the lemon bars standing out along with the pecan pie. Having hand dipped ice cream was a nice addition. We had reservations and were seated within 5 minutes. The tables were a little challenging to maneuver between to get to the buffet area, but doable. Rest rooms were ADA friendly with wide doors and grab bars.”

“Good food but the service was horrible. She barely wanted to make money today you could tell she didn't wanna be there. She barely looked at my husband and was speaking so quietly and with attitude that we could understand what she was telling us.”

“We ordered the Greathouse supreme deep dish. It was huge! Descent prices. The pizza was good. Both of us found the sauce to be a bit sweet for our taste. Both of us agreed that there were not enough vegetables, lots of meats on it just not enough vegetables given the size and amount of meats. We would order again if we find ourselves in the area again.”

“According to all known laws of aviation, there is no way a bee should be able to fly. Its wings are too small to get its fat little body off the ground. The bee, of course, flies anyway because bees don't care what humans think is impossible.”
