“I had their green enchilada dinner. The rice was delicious, the refried beans tasted like the can stuff from the store. The enchiladas were so good! The chicken was full of flavor and the green sauce was not spicy but packed with flavor as well. I’d give them a 5 star review but there was a bone in my dinner... definitely a chocking hazard.”

“This is a beautifully decorated restaurant here in the south side. Went to dinner early afternoon (about 30 minutes after opening) last Saturday. We sat at the bar that had two others at the time. The bartender was wandering around preparing his clothing while some kind of bag of chips were open and laying on the bar. We waited almost 15 minutes before we were even asked if we wanted a drink then it took another 10 to be served them. Then another 10 waiting “to ask” for a menu and then another 10 “to ask” if we could order. The bartender was very concerned about verbalizing how “great his skills” were then actually doing his job. Then, the bartender had to ask help from a server to input the order into the POS system as he literally had no clue which might explain the not great service. But the worst was yet to come when the kitchen REFUSED to make a “bone in” chicken vesuvio citing they did not have any bone in chicken. This restaurant is located 10 steps from a grocery store. Walk over and get one unless the reasoning for not cooking one was more of staff inconvenience versus being out of product. While the food was very good and the female bartender (came on staff) was better I do not foresee returning to this establishment to spend high dollar for this type of “service”. I am writing this review with effort for management/owner(s) to know the happenings and hope they fix what can easily be remedied.”

“Cheer's is absolutely phenomenal!!! We just hosted an event there for the first time and are beyond pleased with the entire experience! Their staff partook in our event and was always on hand when our guests needed them. They were very attentive and polite! The food here was outstanding and they aren't shy about their portions. Our guests loved their food! A special shout out to Sarah Hauge with Whiskey & Harmony for organizing the performance lineup for this evening. Every single person that came to play tonight was a pleasure to listen to. They truly played their hearts out for us! We will be back and look forward to hosting many events to come with them!!”

“OMG this food is amazing, the story of this family owned restaurant is so beautiful and I wish my kids would help and support me as those young men do with their father. These types of restaurants are very hard to find, the service was astounding and I felt so loved as if I was one of them. I give those young men so much love and respect for doing what they do to keep a family legacy going. “John's has been around forever and for good reason. Owned by great people (John is the hardest working man in the fast food industry), excellent food and the service is as good as it gets. Personally my favorite is the cheesy beef with fries which are the best around, but their hamburgers are outstanding also. No matter what you choose you can not make a mistake, everything on the menu is good. Oh just a side note, plenty of parking and easy in and out.”
