Fantastic half roasted chicken with mushrooms and grits that were just outright fabulous. I had an excellent Porter to pair and it was just a nice experience overall. I also had a scotch egg that left a little to be desired, but that's being a little extra picky. The greens with the egg were super tasty, the mustards paired with it were awesome, but the egg inside was a touch dry.

We arrived for lunch about 2 hours prior to our show at a nearby theater. The staff were very accommodating and let us enjoy a relaxing lunch. The food was exceptional for each and everyone (5) at our table. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Great lunch spot in the Loop/Mag Mile. It is very similar to The Dearborn, which is owned by the same restaurant group. I actually prefer The Gage's menu slightly for diversity of options.

The menu is not overwhelming, but seems to offer something for everyone. I love the Venison Burger, which was unique but also immensely enjoyable. The salads are very good as well, but note it is pretty expensive to add protein to them.

Our service was good and we had an all around wonderful time.

Attended a wonderful brunch in the party room downstairs. Excellent bar service. Delicious drinks. The food was phenomenal. Their Chilequiles was delicious. The French toast with berry jam and whip cream was to die for. Service was outstanding. Wonderful place to have our family Christmas brunch! Definitely will be back.

Good location. Nice atmosphere. Great experience. We came here for dinner after leaving the Art Institute near by. My husband and I ordered the oysters, seared scallops, and venison burger which were all flavorful and had a thoughtful presentation. Our server was very attentive and suggested some sound cocktail options.
