Really exceptional! Our bartender Connor was knowledgeable, attentive, unobtrusive, and anticipated our needs. The martinis and highballs were stirred perfectly, and served elegantly.
I only had the bread, but it was absolutely delicious, with a rich flavor, and served with tempered butter. I think you can tell a lot by how someone approaches their bread and butter service, so I'm excited to return here for a full meal.
Great atmosphere and walking distance from the bean. Drinks are amazing I recommend their version of an old fashioned. Appetizers were great as well as service. They also have live music some nights.
Very cool place. Had a speakeasy vibe with its location in the building. Nice atmosphere. Great food.
Absolutely incredible service and atmosphere. Dark, but cozy. It's got a kinda "this might be a secret illumanti meeting space" vibe (lots of art with symbolism around the room). Our waiter graciously answered all our curious questions. Apparently it used to be a men's club for the wealthy, so they built all this symbolism around the club.
And the food, wow. I got the asparagus and risotto. Fantastic combination. Both cooked to perfection. Probably the best asparagus I've ever eaten.
Dessert was to die for. We got the ice creams. By far the best ice cream I've ever had.
Great drink selection, we mentioned we liked sour beers and our waiter gave us a glass each to try in the house!
The restaurant was tricky to find though. You have to go up to the second floor, walk all the through the game room and then down a hallway with a small neon sign. It opens up into this restaurant.
Absolutely wonderful! Amazing crab eggs Benedict and a lovely skillet breakfast. The ambiance is a total throwback to the early 20th century. The servers were fantastic and the place was nearly empty for our late workweek breakfast. It wasn't cheap though! Will definitely return!
