I hosted a private birthday party from 8p-12am in April and the Decadent Chicago Team exceeded my expectations. I created a a signature cocktail list along with serving light appetizers such as grits w/ braised short rib, avocado bites, elote bites, shrimp, mini chicken/waffles and baked mac and cheese w/ fried chicken. I would definitely recommend this establishment for private parties.
Stopped by while I was in town. I was left speechless by how good the banana pudding gelato is. Mouth watering isn’t the word. I’m not sure the name of the one owner but she’s a very nice person. Very pleasant, made my experience even more enjoyable. I’ll have to stop by again before leaving out of town.
I love that the croissants are baked to order. They are beautifully crisp and buttery soft, and definitely worth the wait time.
Recently, I placed a takeout order for shrimp and grits, and a cannoli, and both did not disappoint. I'm so glad that Decadent is now also open on Sundays.
We stopped in this Friday afternoon for a sweet treat and Decadent did not disappoint. We enjoyed their dark chocolate shortbread and a brownie skillet. Both were worth it! Server was polite and took care of us. Pleasant visit.
Very nice dining experience. We came here on a Friday night and we booked our reservation online to secure a spot. The evening that we had dinner it was not very busy which was nice because you got a lot of 1:1 time with the staff and the owner. Everyone was really delightful and explained the menu items and also what their favorites.
We were able to find parking a few blocks down. However you may need to go ahead and pay for garage parking if coming during the prime time.
For food we got Brussels sprouts and fried green tomatoes for appetizers. both were really good and had different areas where they shined. overall the Brussels were fantastic. As for entree we opted for the cajun pasta and the braised beef over grits. Both were fake flavored very well however the brasied beef was very good. Lastly but not least, we got dessert. My husband ordered the carrot cake and I got the toffee pudding. We both enjoyed our individual desserts, but I will say that I am a little bit more going towards The toffee pudding as it's more unique. but the carrot cake was delicious.
All in all a really lovely evening, I would definitely come back and try brunch and even just dessert at this location. we enjoyed our cocktails and even the red Blend wine was high quality.
