    I visited this restaurant today passing through Chicago... 3 ladies there Key Key, Sheba, and Ms Laura were amazing! The food was excellent! I’ll be back every time I pass throughout Chicago!

    Jean's Soulfood Cafe is a hidden gem on the southside of Chicago. This restaurant may be small but it's food has big flavor and great staff that treats everyone like family when you dine in!!!

    Potato salad was awesome. Greens on point. Home cooking available everyday. Prices are resonable.

    They have an awesome breakfast menu. I’ll tolerate certain items like the baked chicken which is a bit dry but yet tasty. Then I have items like their potato salad which is so good to me. Of course, I hate to admit the one item I really wanted the most I was the most disappointed by which was the spaghetti. Possibly the worst I’ve ever tasted. They said it was oven baked. I say it was terribly over cooked. The noodles were mush.Consistency is key when it comes to Soul Food!!!!
