With Covid they’ve stopped taking phone orders to pick up, so I either have to order through DoorDash and pay the fees or wait in line with people all over the sidewalk through their slow process. They need to figure out a better solution than having people line the sidewalk and wait 30+ minutes to grab a bagel.”

“The food never disappoints here, from a full brunch to a quick lunch date I've enjoyed every meal here. My favorites is definitely the fried chicken sandwich and the mac and cheese is always great. Service can be a bit hit or miss but never in a bad way if that makes sense. Usually they are just so busy that a server might take a little longer than usual to come check up on you or bring your drinks a bit late. They're still great and I can't fault them too badly.”

Chive cream cheese gets and a plus. The sandwich my brother ate looked phenomenal. Only weak point from our order was their “famous” pickles were pretty weak. Not what I would consider a good pickle but to each their own.”

“If you want feel like you're taking a day trip to Paris without leaving Chicago, Maison Marcel is the place. This is a lovely space. Fresh flowers, French House Music playing in the background, light and airy atmosphere. I see why the IG crowd take photos here. I had the spinach omelet, salad, roasted potatoes, chocolate almond croissant and mocha latte from here (shared all with a friend). Everything was delicious! Maison Marcel is a really nice, relaxing place for lunch or brunch. Good food, great atmosphere.”

My son loved the "Avocado Queen Burger" (it was really big). They have seating inside and on the sidewalk. Staff was very friendly. I can't wait to go back and try their empanadas.
