“Obviously nothing compares to the Guinness Brewery in Dublin, including the Guinness itself. But outside of that, it’s a great brewery filled with unique, Chicago-inspired beers. I have NEVER tried anything like the Spicy Lemongrass Smash! I wish there better / more Irish-inspired snacks, but the pickled veggies were very tasty! A small-ish interior too (also unlike Dublin; it was too windy to sit outside). Would recommend beer lovers come here, but the Guinness itself is sadly pretty standard to anywhere else in Chicago.”

This place is a grocery store and has a small but quality halal meat section, as well as a small Turkish bakery section boasts sorts of Baklavas. Chef Hüseyin made Maklube, a traditional Turkish meat dish, for the dinner. It was delicious!!! Highly recommend if you’re looking for Halal meat, Turkish groceries and bakery.”

“This place is amazing. Best London Fog I’ve ever had. Who knew using loose-leaf tea and not filling it with sugar syrup by default would make such a difference! Kind, courteous, and knowledgeable staff. Clean as a whistle, with plenty of space to work or study at and lots of outlets for power. Clean bathrooms and in an ideal area. “The bagels were delicious, we got a whole different array to try. I am fond of the garlic and herb, but I also really enjoyed the egg bagels. They had a nice rich texture and flavor. I also enjoyed the blueberry and cinnamon raisin bagels. The only one I didn't particularly care for was the pretzel salt... I was under the impression that it was going to be pretzel dough or similar to a pretzel bun, but it just had pretzel salt caked on the bottom of it. I saw the serve Boar's head lunch meat which is the absolute best deli cuts money can buy, so next time I go I plan on grabbing a bagel sandwich.”

“This bakery is amazing! Anything you get here will blow you away. My partner’s old roommate is from France, and this is the only place in the entire Chicagoland area where she’d eat bread from. I can’t recommend to go to this place enough. The staff is also so kind and helpful! I accidentally forgot a baguette as my hands were full of other amazing pastries and sandwiches. I gave them a call, told them what happened and 15 minutes later I was able to get my forgotten and well enjoyed baguette. An amazing place that I tell all my friends to go to!”
