“A GREAT addition to the Mount Prospect neighborhood. They have taken a building that was previously a real eye-sore, fully rehabbed it, and turned it into a must stop location. The building looks wonderful. That alone is worth 5 stars. As for the food, that gets 5-stars as well. The hot dogs and fries are exactly what you hope for. Very good, you will enjoy them. The staff is friendly and quick with their service. We really enjoy walking over to Hubby's with our kids. Love to see the popularity with the lines out the door already. Their food is the best, I strongly recommend stuffed french toast, pecan waffle and chilaquiles. Those are just to name a few of their great dishes. Their coffee is delicious and they always keep it coming, they only charge for the first serving and then the re-fills are free of cost. Will strongly recommend.”

“What else can be said about Portillo's that hasn't already been said? It's a Chicago mainstay with absolutely incredible food at a very reasonable price. One thing you may not know is that they have some of the best ribs around. I consider myself a rib aficionado, trying them almost everywhere I go... especially in the Chicagoland area. I can tell you that Portillo's ribs are in my top 3 favorites of all time. Incredibly tender with a great sauce. If you haven't given them a try I highly recommend you do so!”

Eveything on the menu is good, but if you're trying Ma's for the first time, get something you'd like to compare to the pop Chinese chain restaurants that charge twice the price. Excellent value for money ???? Ma's isn't open on Sundays, and only stays open till 9 pm, so plan ahead.”
