My experiences here have been the best in a long time. The inside is clean and well organized and the staff works really hard to take care of all their customers. There is definitely a language barrier but with patience and kindness the service is unmatched. This will be my go-to location going forward.”

“This is a late post but made reservations for one of their large rooms on the Friday before Christmas. Visited a month in advance and then again a week or so before to ensure that our reservation was kept. Wasn't convinced that our reservation was going to be kept but it was nice to do those visits to hangout, and the reservation turned out ok. Had a group of 15 people or so in the large room for 2-hours. Ordered a bunch of buckets of beer and bottles of soju, as well as an order of their fried chicken (pictured here) with their sauce on the side (which was excellent with a nice kick of heat/spiciness). Total of the night was roughly around $600. Wouldn't mind visiting again although you need a small/large group for a room. Not sure if they allow karaoke in the common area if there aren't a lot of occupied rooms.”

“Taste wise, their stuff is good, that is why the three star rating. Store is neat and clean. Unfortunately, they cheated. I ordered 30 big samosas for pickup, they had them ready when I went there. Next day, I open the pack and to my surprise, these are small samosas. I called them, and they said that the owner said that she will ask the kitchen staff. They said that they were aware of the fact that a few big samosas were sold and as a result, they put in small samosas (which they supposedly doubled). This is far from correct, all 30 samosas were small, plus, they never bothered to tell me about the swap (which didn't happen) and spoiled my planning. To top it all, the kitchen staff who talked to me was rude.”

“I am so glad this cute juice shop opened up in my neighborhood. It’s exactly what Lakeview needs. I ordered the Purple Haze and it was soooo delicious. An immediate favorite. “I typically don't eat pizza however, seeing that this was a true coal fired oven. I decided to go against my meal plan and give it a shot. I met the owner who is an incredible person, and explained to me the cost and how the coal heats the oven. A pizza can cook, and as little as three minutes in one of these ovens. I had a heavy pour of the Pinot Noir, and I ordered the number one pizza. To be honest, it pains me to give only four stars. However, I was expecting a little bit of crunch and a lot of flavor and sadly I was lacking both. The owner came over to check on me and said that he would've liked to seen more char on the crust and I also agree. It was a nice atmosphere with great service and enjoyable conversations with the staff. Could've used an extra 30 to 45 seconds given the pace at which the owner said it cooked as this one was a little too soggy for my liking.”

“Found this place while researching for Korean foods before traveling to Chicago. Glad we ended picking this place when we got here. Seafood pancake was nice. My favorite was the seafood soondubu (came with rice). It was so flavorful & had a lot of toppings. Would definitely come back if we have a chance. 😋 Our server was very nice. Bathroom was clean. “decided to check out dakgogi today! i've been eyeing this restaurant for a while since announcing it's opening date. it's food was AMAZING. the chicken was so flavorful with a good crunch! AND the tteokbokki was to die for. it wasn't to spicy like another reviewer said, and extremely chewy (which is good). and honestly, price wasn't even that bad. everything was relatively reasonably priced, some might say cheap. music kept my friends and i going, and would've stayed longer had we not had a strict time frame to be on task with. will be visiting again!”
