    Tag’s Cafe was...confusing. I’m a huge fan of their bakery, but the Cafe fell so short for me, especially after all the hype.

    Walking in, I was expecting the same sort of vibe: family-oriented and cozy. Instead, I walked into a b-list Fixer Upper meets ‘we kinda wanted to copy the decor of the coffee shop next door.’ This in itself would’ve been fine, if it hadn’t been for Smash Mouth’s “All Star” on the radio, followed by other numerous early 2000’s burn out hit singles.

    The coffee was fine and they had plenty of dairy alternatives which I appreciated. I had one bite of a donut that tasted like it had been sitting out for 4 days.

    All in all, I’ll probably never go back to Tag’s Cafe.

    Beautiful cafe. I love the design! What a nice addition to Central St.. I didn't order food but got a coffee and am told they will have lattes and other coffee drinks in about a month. Looking forward to going again
