Food is really unique and delicious. I would never thought to eat zucchini on a pizza, but now that's my go to meal. Their pizza could will fill up 2-3 people while trying some other apps. Will be back most def!”

“We had a really nice family style dinner with a group of 14 people. Food was great. In addition we celebrated 3 birthdays and the restaurant did a nice job accommodating that as well as other special requests. Nancy, the event planner couldn't have been more helpful. The down side is that the noise level prevented us from being able to communicate to both ends of the table, but this is unfortunately the way it is at most restaurants.”

“This place replicated a memory from a time past. This is a family friendly milk bar, serving up rich ice cream with a legacy of quality. I've never been an ice cream fan, but our tradition remains - family Saturday dinner at a nice restaurant, then a shared single scoop of honey butter cashew ice cream, and a pint to go. Always a pleasant experience.”

“We had a great waitress who was really helpful going over the menu and making sure we got out in time to get to the theater. Food was really good. Especially enjoyed the bread set at the table. The down side and why it didn't get 5 stars - it was way too noisy. We were considering it for a group dinner in December, but we like to talk to each other. I don't know why restaurants create this environment and don't know anyone who enjoys it.”

“Tasty food and cocktails. Great service. Intimate ambiance. The service was very attentive and helpful without being intrusive throughout our meal. Our server gave us good recommendations on cocktails, portion sizes, and menu items. We started with an amuse bouche of cheese bread with brown butter. A great bite to get us started and whet our appetites. I ordered the turkey three ways (dark meat dumpling, turkey breast, crispy skin). The crispy dumplings were crazy good. I could eat a whole plate of them. For dessert, we ordered the butter cake. It was a nice treat to accompany our coffee and complete the meal. Light and sweet, but not overly so. While the rest of the meal was satisfying, there were some things that could have been executed better. We had oysters with a special mignonette which over powered the oyster. The oyster didn't need to be there. The truffle and egg scramble featured grilled toast which was over-charred. The burnt toast flavor was too much for the delicate eggs and truffle.”

“There are two Subways much closer to where we live but I always come to this one. It's in a great strip mall with an awesome pet store and grocery and the staff is SO friendly and the place is super clean. It's really one of the best ones in the Western suburbs.”
