Funny friendly people.....but more importantly, the food was fantastic!

I'll admit that I was worried that this place was going to disappoint when it was announced that City Barbecue was coming to Park Ridge. I surprisingly enjoyed Todd's BBQ before it was unfortunately replaced by the less than stellar Pork & Mindy's inside Mariano's, and I didn't want to be let down again.

I was wrong. City Barbecue was delicious. The smoking was spot on, the cuts were great (we had brisket) , the sides were good (we had baked beans), and words cannot describe how amazing the banana pudding is. I couldn't be more relieved and ready to go back for more.

Just ordered from here with guys from my shop. Everybody loves the food and we will be back! Keep up the good work!

I just walked in about 5 minutes ago, and I have never been so happy with a restaurant experience without even eating the food. Customer satisfaction on another level. Let me tell you, the environment is so welcoming I think I got told good afternoon more times in this restaurant then I did this week.They are definitely not short staffed with efficient and diverse workers. We got our food in less then 2 minutes so kudos to them. This store just opened so my family and I wanted to give it a try and again we didn’t even eat the food yet and we had a great experience. Thank you to city barbecue and congrats on you new opening.
