“I heard a lot from my friends about this place. I decided to visit this restaurant when I heard that they serve "Kebab". Polish Kebab isn't the same dish as these one from Middle East and it's very hard to find a good place that serve this meal. I took my family there for a dinner and we were very surprised! The Kebab was phenomenal!!! Almost the same taste I remember from Poland. My wife ordered Hungarian potato pancakes and she said that this dish was one of the best in whole Chicago. The bistro is clean, the staff is very helpful if you have questions about menu. Highly recommended to visit and try something new! Good job Flavor Room Bistro!”

“This whole experience was fantastic! The decor is warm and inviting and the lights are dim (even at lunch!) which made for a really nice ambiance. The service was perfect! We got waters right away and our waitress was especially attentive! The food was SO good too! I got an omelette (which was huge, couldn’t even finish 1/2) and my man got stuff French toast and even he took 1/2 home! Both those entrees plus coffee for less than $30! Great food, great service, great prices - we will definitely be back!”

“Amazing food. Great staff. Prices are reasonable and portions are good. The potato pancakes and calamari are a good way to start your meal. The sausage plate is one of my favorites. You can choose 2 different sausages. Knackwurst and bratwurst are what I usually order, though they also have thuringer. German fries are a go to side. Their German chocolate cake is for 2 people and shouldn't be eaten by only one person. The black forest cake is perfect if you want something less decadent but still sweet.”

My friend and I initially went in and thought maybe there was a private party but the owner and his friends insisted we stay, gave us drink tickets, and checked in to make sure we were having an awesome time. “It’s a super big roomy place with a good mix of the bar vibe but not being too loud or obnoxious. Very comfortable. The food was tasty but our service was seriously lacking. Our waitress only came by twice and anything we needed like refills or extra sauce required me almost jumping out of the booth to grab her. It was 10pm on a Tuesday and there were only a few other tables, so it being busy wasn’t the issue. The bad service was a turn off and big inconvenience so not sure I’ll be back but otherwise it was a good place.”
