“A very nice deli, freshly made sandwiches to order, fresh ingredients, and a delightful staff. Their soups are homemade, and are very popular. They have two freezers full of already made soups, all the varieties they make. They will not have all those options for fresh soup, and if you don't get there early enough, they will they will run out. I had what I call a totally l turkey Ruben sandwich. It was delightful. The homemade chips you get with sandwich are awesome, but you only get those when you dine in. I had the French onion soup, it was very good. The prices here are really good. All in all, a very nice dining experience, I definitely go back, again and again.”

“Went here with a couple of friends on a Friday night, like everyone else said it was empty. We all had the chefs special Personal Cajun Seafood platter. The flavor was great hence the 3 stars. Unfortunately the picture showed sausage was included, which it’s not. There were about 3 shrimp and 3 crawfish in there. The crab legs were good. It came with mussels, which weren’t shown in the picture and wish it said it came with that because I would’ve ordered mine without. Also, it clearly states it comes with steamed rice but it was never brought out till we asked if it was included. The staff was very short and seemed annoyed when we would ask questions. The variety seems great but will not be going there again.”

“We were invited to have lunch at Healy's Westside with my brother-in-law Tom and his son. They have frequented Healy's for years. We arrived right at opening on a Sunday and had the place to ourselves for awhile. Though they have a full beautiful bar we simply ordered soft drinks and began our meal with chips and guacamole - the chips and guac were an unexpected delicious choice and certainly one of the highlights of our visit. We ordered steak sandwiches and blue cheese burgers with fries. All were very good - kinda wish we were given more fries. I really enjoyed my steak sandwich with cheese and would recommend it to anyone. Healy's has a very comfortable atmosphere - feels like one of those bars/restaurants that has been and will be around forever.”

“Went on Ribfest weekend. Gumbo was great, ribs were okay, the Dirty Rice was awful. Obviously yesterdays rice, and had soured. Servers response was tepid, and she took a couple bucks off check instead of offering something else. Shanahan's was in our rotation for lunches, but this will take it off for a while. Too many restaurants around to accept this level of service and food.”

“Giving this Portillo's location 3 stars this time because it took forever for them to take my order. I ordered Tuscan chicken salad and clam chowder to go. I was impressed with the size of the container the soup was in and looked forward to some good clam chowder. To my disappointment, it was watery and had an orange film that looked like grease on top. I stirred it around and didn't see any pieces of clam in there. There was however corn! Never have I seen corn in clam chowder before! I love corn! But I would have preferred CLAMS in my clam chowder! Thumbs down on that one Portillo's! Salad was good! But the chowder ruined my lunch!”

“Had lunch at O'Sullivan's Public House in Forest Park a couple of days before Christmas. Cool local bar/restaurant! It's in a very old building, I believe late 1800's, with the original copper ceiling, which is very interesting! The bar was decorated nicely for the holidays and looked great! This was my first visit, and I met my son and his girlfriend there, who had flown in from Seattle, for the holidays. I had the Prime Buffalo Burger which was ok... except that I had ordered it medium rare and it was well past that point.The onion rings I ordered were significantly overcooked as well, and the breading was so dry it literally broke apart in my fingers when I picked up a ring. We had no complaints with the other food we ordered... so I'm not sure why mine turned out the way it did. All in all, it's a cool place to visit! Perhaps my meal was an anomaly... I would have given this place 5 stars if not for that..”
