They just opened, new management (i heard) and we are the only diners around (Monday afternoon) Service is good, the gentleman is really attentive and made sure we have everything that we need. All the food is great. We enjoyed it a lot. Not greasy and heavily seasoned. The price is reasonable as well. There is plenty of space to dine in. “If you stopped to read this review because you saw that sad looking cesar salad and thought it looked out of place, let me tell you this was served to the table. This was a split salad for two so there was another plate as well. However, that salad has no business being served here based on how good the pasta is. That is a salad you would get at a diner. If we hadn't put the pasta order in at the same time, my girlfriend said she probably would have closed the ticket. She was adamant it was a sign of the quality of the rest of the food on the menu. I don't disagree. Now this place absolutely redeemed themselves with the pasta. The sauces were fantastic. I really enjoyed the rigatoni and based on that dish alone, I will be back, but without ordering a salad.”

“This is probably the best hidden new restaurant in Forest Park. I've lived here for years but I've yet to find a place with this kind of friendly welcoming charm, 10/10 food and a perfect ambiance. Vibes are great and the pepperoni pizza is one of the best pizzas I've had in the whole city. Don't miss this place! New and a place I'm definitely returning to. My boyfriend and I couldn't stop raving about it throughout our whole meal. Can't wait to come back!”

“This is a new place in the area and its good. The service is quick and the food came pretty fast as well. What we ordered tasted delicious. The beef noodles tasted just right and the dragon roll is a must try. I did love the nice large sized shrimp with my fried rice. They are so nice they gave us spring roll dish for free. “Delicious! The shop is currently offering traditional Thai snacks/desserts. I love love love that they use all natural ingredients, so the treats aren’t overly sweet or processed. Bonus points as there are a good amount of dairy-free options. Ingredients are clearly listed if you have any food allergy concerns. Prices are very reasonable. Be mindful that, at this moment, it’s a cash-only shop. Beautiful interior decor. The owners were wonderful and indicated they hope to be offering food by the end of the year.”

“Best Chinese food I’ve had in a long time. Flavors are great and I’ve had delivery and eaten at the restaurant. When you dine in service is prompt and the atmosphere is lovely. The restaurant decorations are nice enough to have a date, but not too formal so fine for dinner with friends or family. We were seated quickly and had tea on the table within seconds. Delivery is quick and the food was hot and fresh. Try the mango cheese spring roll. Sounds weird, but uniquely delicious! Staff on the phone and in person are beyond courteous and helpful.”

“This is my first time to this restaurant, I loved it! Have not had Thai food this good in quite awhile. The egg rolls are delicious, not heavy, like in a Chinese restaurant. The crab ragoon is excellent, very light, you could eat the whole order by yourself. The chicken satay was very good, surprisingly moist for chicken breast, the peanut sauce also very good. The beef with garlic & jalapeño salad I really enjoyed, the beef was a bit dry but can be compensated with the sauces. This dish is spicy with a lot of garlic. The red curry sauce is excellent! Try this restaurant, you will not be disappointed!”

“I used to order from here regularly, but at one point the delivery drivers stopped bringing the pizza to my door. 3rd floor apartment, front door accessible to public. They would call me from the courtyard, and I'd sometimes miss the call because my phone was on silent. I delivered pizza's myself for multiple years, and I always took it right to the customer's door. Additionally, we had each apartment building, in our delivery area, documented in such a way that depicted the layout, and the numbering system of the apartments for delivery drivers to research before they left, so they wouldn't just arrive at the courtyard, and get confused.”

“Old School offers a sizable selection of craft beer that includes some of the better, small local breweries. I ordered one of the specials, a harissa tilapia sandwich. The fish tasted delicious, and the fries were the perfect balance of crisp on the outside and soft in the middle. The bun seemed plain to me, so I ditched it halfway through the sandwich with no regrets. Great bang for your buck, and I'll be back again for sure.”
