“Food was delicious - the boil broth was a little thicker than I've seen at other places, which helped it stay on better. All I needed was a little bread to dip up the excess sauce! Prices were comparable to similar places (but the 15% off coupon was welcome)! Also like the take out option. Service was a little slow due to the large party having a celebration there, but the server was very nice and checked on us several times. Will definitely be back.”

“I was invited by my brother-in-law and I remember telling him, “this better be worth it, you just passed one of my favorite seafood spots on the way to Hidden Manna Cafe.” When I say, the stop was well worth it...believe that it truly was. As our party of five was being seated, we observed some of the orders of the other customers being brought to their tables. It has been said to never go into a grocery store when you’re really hungry well the same concept applies so don’t go to this cafe if you’re on a diet, fast or counting calories. Enjoy the experience without all the restrictions. Our table ordered the seafood omelet, shrimp and grits, creole pasta, catfish, salmon croquettes, waffle and lobster, key lime cheesecake, pound cake and peach tea. I can honestly say that my fork and spoon wandered around the table to sample the delicious bites of everyone’s food. The owner is definitely on to something very special with this hidden gem that won’t stay hidden for long. If you’re thinking about giving Hidden Manna Cafe a try, the seafood gumbo and short ribs are highly recommended or if you’re into breakfast try the chicken & waffle with the made to order maple cream sauce. The sauce is something to brag about, once you try the maple cream sauce, regular maple syrup will become a thing of the past. The chef who came up with this deliciousness is truly on to something and the sauce will have your taste buds dancing and wanting more. The maple cream sauce needs to be packaged and sold separately. If you’re in the area and want to experience something wonderful, Hidden Manna Cafe is worth the visit. The cafe is now open on Sunday and everyday except Tuesday.”

“I come here pretty often at least 2-3 times out of the week with my significant other. It’s cozy, it’s black owned and the drinks are good. The prices are fair, not expensive at all. Of course every business has it's tough days. The McDonald's model seems to minimize the bad days. “We went for a late dinner. About 8 pm. They were still bringing out fresh , just made food... hot and ready to eat. Every time we come to Chicago we come here. Our waiter and all the staff were polite and so friendly.. Fried chicken was amazing. And the greens with ham hocks were worth packaging and bringing home. 38$ for 2. “Peachtree has been on my "want-to-visit" list for over a year. I love breakfast restaurants - I'd rather go out for brunch than dinner any day of the week - and their reviews were good. I finally had a chance to snag brunch here, and can state emphatically that the positive reviews have it right! Their menu is nicely varied but not excessively large. (A huge menu overwhelms both patrons and cooks.) The food was hot and tasty - very flavorful - and arrived so fast that I jokingly inquired if the waitress was telepathic, thereby allowing her to put in our order before taking it. (I've never had food arrive that fast - not even a piece of pie!) Even my toast was hot! Their service was at least as good as the food. Our waitress was friendly and attentive - as demonstrated by said toast - just great! I highly recommend eating here - you won't regret it. Do be careful in the packing lot though, as it's old and in poor condition. There are pot holes big enough to eat a Smart Car. (They might well have already done so!)”

“Absolutely fantastic people! To make a long story short, we had a party of about 35 people. We ordered chicken from a different place (not a KFC) and they called me 1hr 30min before the event to tell me they had NO CHICKEN! I called KFC in Matteson and the manager didn't give me any issues and had 50 pieces of chicken ready in under a hour! Hats off to the staff and I couldn't have been happier! Thanks KFC!”
