“There used to be a place like this on the southside of Chicago when I was young. Now that I have a son of my own, it's great that I have a place to go and share same experiences. Now this particular Diner compared to the one I used to go to has more extensive menu, with much much better food. The atmosphere is much better as well, as it's much more decorated in the diner I grew up in. The staff is extremely friendly, food comes fast, my son loves the joint. Which is all that really matters. We had his birthday there once it was very reasonable. Food is always great as well.”

“I liked this place, but I wish they had a large take home freezer section. I guess I can’t blame them for that since it makes sense for stores to only carry what sells, especially when its franchise run like this one is. However, because it does not have this option I go all the way to the one off of Ogden and Cass because they have star kiss bars in a six pack box like I want. They have cherry dipped cones so they get five stars. Great staff, they always need another person, but that is the same about all locations. I feel terrible when it’s one person trying to run everything at a store.”

“This is the first time going to Streak N Shake. Ordered a double cheeseburger with a vanilla/strawberry shake. The burger was very good and nicely seasoned. The two flavored shake was super yummy. Service was quick and food was served fast. Our server was super friendly and fast considering he was working the dining room by himself. He was so good, I left him a 100% tip. Will be going back soon to try some of the other different flavored shakes.”

“Went here for brunch on Sunday. It is very busy on the weekends, so the best time to go is a little bit later in the afternoon. We ordered the apple pancake, omelets, French toast, and cookies and cream pancakes. I am an adult and I helped myself to a healthy portion of my son's cookies and cream pancakes. They were not super sweet, but tasted like cookies and cream! We all shared the apple pancake and had some to take home. This is definitely a dish you need to share with someone. The French toast was good, too. A great little place and it shows with the local crowd waiting in long lines for a delicious meal. If you like breakfast food, this should be on your list of places to eat.”

“Great pizza in a convivial environment. The beer selection is good, not just Old Style. If you're not a pizza fan, there are other things to eat (although I don't think many Chicagoans go to a pizza place to eat something else). Appetizers include garlic bread, and the other fare on offer is mainly traditional Italian-American style. Definitely worth visiting, whether you eat in or take out.”

“Great new barbecue place where you can order individual meals or meat by the pound. The brisket is especially good! They do make everything fairly fresh, so they are sometimes out of certain items. “MOD pizza is a great place to eat. I have tried different places. However, today my experience was a little disappointing at Downers Grove, IL, related to the presentation and workers representing their Brand. The guy serving/preparing the order was throwing every leftovers to the floor. This created a bad impression of the business. My only recommendation is that even if they are busy, they should keep the cleanness and the well presentation of the business. I must state here that they cleaned few minutes after we were served. However, it is easier to keep the place clean while they are working.”

“Absolutely love this place!!! The burger was amazingly flavorful and juicy, the bun was fresh, the ingredients sang a wonderful harmony together!!! I was sick, terribly sick, just getting over the hill and on medication so I wasn’t contagious anymore. My husband went here the week before with his parents and he loved it! He took me the minute I could start tasting food again!!! The cheddar soup was amazing and everything was hot and fresh when it came out. We enjoyed our lunch and the server was wonderful. The beers were nice and they had a good selection as well. We go back here all the time and it’s still just as wonderful as the first time.”
