“First time visitors for my wife and me. Our daughter treated which is always nice. I knew what I wanted as I walked in past the specials white board...meat lovers skillet. I gauge a lot of restaurants by how well they do my favorites. Skillets, specialty French toast, crepes for my wife. I chose to have eggs basted and pancakes instead of toast. Anyone can send toast so i chose the 2 pancakes instead. The strawberry orange smoothie my daughter added was incredible. Our skillets were perfection in both portions and preparations. Norberto was on point with anything and everything including coffee top offs. Excellent service, fresh delicious food, clean environment. We'll be back soon enough on our own.”

Had a deli sandwich and the meats and cheeses were both delicious and of great portion..several slices instead of the 1or 2 slices most places seem to pass of as a sandwich. “I walked down here to have a hot breakfast one morning after dropping someone off at Hinsdale Middle School, and I highly recommend trying it! They have a nice extensive menu with plenty of choices, but not so many that you're overwhelmed. The food was both hot and yummy, and it came very quickly. I had a fairly simple order, but I was still taken aback at how fast it arrived. Even my toast was still hot when it got to my table, and that's unusual in my experience! Warm, sure, but usually not hot. And while they weren't packed, it wasn't empty either. The service was equally great, as my waiter was attentive and always quick to serve me, but without any hovering. If you have a chance, I'd recommend trying YiaYi's. I know I'll definitely be back! (Hopefully when it's a bit warmer out, as I got a bit cold walking down there.)”

“The decor crisp and modern. The staff was extremely attentive. Our server Melissa was sharp and funny. We ordered 2 apps and 4 different entrees. All were tasty. One entree was sent back and was quickly remade.The manager took that off our bill and we didn't even ask for that. I gave 4 stars, as the musician canceled because of the weather and this is one of the reasons I chose this restaurant. The menu was one page, which was perfect! Great place to host a private event, with several rooms that can be made private with curtains. Make a reservation, as I did, every table was full.”
