“The best place to get food in Villa Park. Where else can you get fresh bread for free? Coming here has always been an experience. Whether I'm spending some time at the very lively bar during a game, or having a dinner in the restaurant I always leaving happier than I arrive. The menu has so many delicious options that trying and picking a new item to eat, I've never felt like I could have ordered something I knew I like, or compromise. The staff is uniquely friendly and really get to know you. My recent dining experience has been during a mild snow storm early evening with my loved one. We sat next to a roaring fire overlooking a beautiful terrace covered in snow. The best part was it felt like a TRULY great meal not just because my roast duck dripped with a uniquely complex glaze with a touch of sweetness, or the fresh hot fries covered in cheese and served with a spicy aioli, or even the stunning desserts lit aflame made of fresh cream and rich Brandy. This meal was great, because I knew that the food was amazing. Its amazing when I can just go somewhere now a days, where anything can happen. My car could break down, I could get really bad news about a family member, or just an off day. I could be in the worst mood possible and I wouldn't want to talk to anyone. But I'll always come here and eat. Because I can know without a doubt in my mind, that I'll always have a meal I'll love. I'll always smile at the people who work there and treat you like family. I'll never feel bad when I get the bill and I can focus on the things that matter. It's one less thing to worry about and I'll always love coming here.”

“If we go back it will be for sandwich-type items not the high ticket items we had. One of us had New York Strip steak which first came out purple raw and even after a bit more cooking quite tough and the other had the pot roast on mashed potatoes with horseradish sauce. Was very delicious but just not enough pot roast. Soup was delicious but barely warm. We did not feel the quality matched the cost of the meals. I repeat the sandwich items looked delicious and appeared appropriately priced. The restaurant is clean, casual & bears a cozy Western theme.”

“We have young kids, so this place is great for us. There is a small children's area to keep them occupied until 7pm (brilliant) and libations for the grown ups. The beer is all house made, which is the main reason for the 4 stars. It would be nice to have a few other choices for those who might like something else. The food is good, I like the meat and cheese tray and cheese curds. On a busy day close parking can be a bit tough in this area. But if you like beer (and especially have young kids) definitely check it out!”

The food (bakes Brie, salmon, lobster mac, beet salad, apple cobbler, s’mores) was amazing and the wine was great and well priced. Can’t wait to come back.”
