Absolutely delicious steaks. Well seasoned and cooked to perfection. The wait staff is tentative and makes sure to take care of you. I highly recommend this as a dinner place
Arrived with no reservation about an hour and 15 minutes before close on a Sunday. Enjoyed immediate seating, great service, main course and desert with no rush. The dining room was abound with people enjoying the company of their party. I ordered the Texas cut by recommendation of a waitress and although not up to the memory of the Houston Chop House in Texas, still an exceptional cut of meat.
Place has changed over time. Service is good but not nearly as attentive as it used to be. It seems, from memory the lunch menu has shrunk but the food served was still good. I had there signature seafood salad still a hefty meal. The biggest disappointment was with the service. The soups were served a good ten minutes apart. The waitress was not invisible but not what you could call attentive. In addition to the soup when I asked for just some bread or rolls again I was more than halfway through with my salad and the other person had finished his meal before it came. Now when it did come it was a pleasant surprise with fresh hot rolls that were delicious but one would expect a heads up to what was coming to explain the long wait. The only instant response was when the check was asked for it appeared instantly. I have had many meals there over the years, in fact almost weekly for several of them. The best food in the world can be negated by lacking service.
The staff was prompt and friendly. I went at lunch with my sister on a Friday and we were seated immediately. The food came out quickly and well prepared. My sister had the bang bang shrimp bowl and was highly impressed. I had the slow roasted prime rib sandwich. The meat was prepared well and the was a good amount on the sandwich. The truffled fries weren't that far off from regular fries and the sandwich could have used a little more flavor as some bites we're bland and only had the taste of unseasoned meat and bread. That being said, the price was reasonable and in line with what you would expect at an establishment of its kind. I would say to give it a try.
What a fantastic restaurant! The food was absolutely amazing. Staff was super friendly, very fast. I barely finished my water and it was full again like magic! The roasted Brussels sprouts were delicious. Definitely will be visiting this place again next time I'm in town. Top notch!
