“Well 4yrs ago I wrote a 1 star review for Alfanos Pizza in Carthage and swore to myself I'd avoid that place like the plague. Today I returned and was fed a huge plate of my least favorite meal...crow. (definitely figuratively speaking here folks! The meal was delicious! Just keep reading and you'll see...) You enter the restaurant and immediately are welcomed with the aroma of Italian seasoning in the air, your eyes witness several groups of families and friends enjoying their meals laughing or in deep conversations. Looking around, the tables are separated to encourage social distancing masks are required but quickly come off at the right time. Our server, Tia, takes our order and she is polite, funny and gives a thumbs up on the Caribbean Pulled Pork sandwich. I saw how busy Tia was, going from table to table tending to her customers every needs. I even heard someone mention the word understaffed amongst the customers, so I braced myself for a long wait on the food. To my surprise our perky server dropped our food off not long after ordering! It looked delicious! And it was! My coworkers pizza was just as tempting, a variety of ingredients topping it with copious mouth watering amounts. The meal, the humorous waitress and a warm atmosphere really changed my mind about my previous experience and now the only thing left to do is finish this plate of crow I've been served!😆 Great job Tia and staff! Thanks to the owner, whom I heard was actually cooking that day, for providing an enjoyable service to the community!”

“The food was excellent! I ordered a seafood burrito, which can be a dicy choice sometimes, and it tasted fresh with copious amounts of shrimp! A very nice blend of seafood served hot and steaming. Speaking of steaming, my friends steak fajitas were brought out still sizling from the grill and the delicious odor actually made me question why I hadn't ordered those instead! They served him with a huge pile of perfectly cooked steak fajitas with peppers and fresh warm tortillas! My brown eyes turned green with envy UNTIL I bit into my seafood burrito! Oh man the burrito just blew it away with flavor as if it were made straight from a wharf of a Mexican seaside restaurant! The staff there are friendly, courteous and attentive! The cost of the meal was more than acceptable and my only regret was I didn't tip enough to compensate for their incredible service! (In my defense we were slightly distracted by a work related issue.)”
