“I took my fiancee here for our Valentine's Day date. We made sure to book a table beforehand so we didn't have to join the large line waiting to be seated. This restaurant does a really good job of keeping the atmosphere quiet and good for conversation, even when at peak capacity. The food choices were good and the staff very friendly and caring. It is not often that you can get that much good food for a reasonable price. Definitely coming back for more.”

“Had a great breakfast here. Loved the atmosphere. Is cozy but still bright and cheery, also very clean. Blitzes were great...they added a little cinnamon to them. Their waffles were really light and fluffy. Average meal is about 10 dollars per person, but so worth it. Food tastes great and you get a lot. Lastly the service was very friendly and we didn't have to ask for anything.”

“The Manor Care is your typical Greek Diner, just like a lot of these places that dot the landscape in this part of the world. The decor inspires a coziness that doesn't match the size of the restaurant. The Manor Cafe is big, but still feels like a small, intimate cafe. Another thing that sets the Manor Cafe apart is the quality of the food. Many of these places serve bland, almost institutional food. Not the Manor Cafe; the food is good and you get a lot of it. Their breakfasts are great. They taste good, they are fresh and they are filling. I have not yet tried lunch or dinner, but they also look really good. The service is friendly and efficient, and always willing to make suggestions if you can't decide what you want. I recommend giving the Manor Cafe a try the next time you're in East Dundee.”
