“Cool place, in a Doctor Who theme. I had the salted caramel latte, and I was able to order my club sandwich as a multi grain wrap, where they added tomato & dill pickle--Both were delicious, and I loved the chipotle mayo in the sandwich. Nice selection of delivery sandwiches, with your choice of different breads, soups, salads, and of course, coffee drinks! I will definitely make a point to go there again!”

“It's Burger King so know what to expect going in. Our experience was good. Place was empty, so we chose to eat inside. We had a nice private meal. Staff was friendly and courteous. Can't beat 10 nuggets for $1. And the Whopper Jr.'s have such a great char broiled taste. Maybe I was just hungry, but the food was very tasty. Fry's we're a little salty, I recommend ordering without salt and adding your own.”

“The staff are professional, drink prices aren’t crazy, and even for the non-gambler, the boat is just pretty to see on the river. Now here’s the good, bad, and the ugly: Good: Nice selection of restaurants, both in and around the area of downtown Elgin - it’s a neat place with a lot of history and do yourself a favor to visit when it’s warmer to experience it. There are plenty of tables with competitive minimums for black jack and roulette. Bad: Being at Rivers versus Grand Victoria is night and day when it comes to the people gambling. If you’re depressed, don’t come here. If you’re with a beautiful woman, don’t come here. If you’re anyone who just needs to spend money to be around people, a normal bar would definitely be a better place. Ugly: Some of the people are very territorial on which machine, seat at a table, or even if you’re sitting next to them at a slot machine - all superstitions are on full blast. Very uncomfortable atmosphere for the party I had brought. Perhaps in the middle of winter, the Grand Victoria doesn’t have the same charm it may possess in the warmer times of the year.”

“This is the second time I've tried Kobe beef and I'm still not impressed. The flavor was average and the beef seemed kind of tough and not tender and melt-in-the-mouth texture as people have described to me. I have had way better burgers that weren't the special kind from Japan but from Good Old USA. In fact, if you want to have the best burger in the Chicago area go to Charlie beinlich's up by the Chicago Botanical Garden North of Chicago. That is the best burger I could suggest for what I've tried around the Chicago area.”

“Went there for a quick bite... came out with a belly full of goodness. The chicken philly steak sandwich is a must. The chicken was so tender and well marinated. My friend tried the wings and was pleasantly surprised of how fresh and crispy they were. The portions are huge. You won’t leave hungry. The staff were friendly and helped with recommendations since their menu is huge! The manager/owner was very warm and welcoming and checked on us a couple of time. Will definitely eat here again.”
