We had a minor issue with our meal, but our server and the manager on duty went above and beyond the call to make sure we were happy. We thought everything was fine and were very content with how our server handled the issue, when the manager suddenly appeared with a gift card and encouragement to "come try us again". We were very surprised, but would have definitely come back, even without the gift card. Thanks to our server, Sarah, and the manager for making our lunch a wonderful experience!”

But here at Alexander’s I have found that true love for breakfast food. It’s a magical encounter with excellent cuisine prepared by the finest chefs and served by the finest wait staff. Lots of smiles when you go in and the owner makes himself present to say good morning and ask everyone how they are. I have eaten here so many times that I can not comprehend it and each time is better than the previous. If I could award 10 stars I would. Stop what you’re doing and go eat here. “Came here for my 21st birthday for Friday night karaoke and we all had a blast. Started off with a waitress who didn't seem to know much about the menu or what drinks they offered and couldn't tell us any drink specials, and wasn't very helpful in assisting me with my first time ordering drinks since I was pretty oblivious having just turned 21. But our waitress after she left for the night was very kind, helpful, and patient with me. The guy running karaoke was a super cool dude, and everyone just was having such a good time. We'll definitely be coming back soon for another round of karaoke!”

“This is real Italian food. Great wood fired pizzas especially the pizza Margarita. It compared to the pizzas I have had in Naples and Rome. The Chicken dishes my family had were great especially the chicken vesuvio. I had the Zuppa di mare which had plenty of fish with very good flavors. The rustic Italian bread with the Olive oil and parmesan cheese were a great start to the meal. I was really digging the ambiance I guess it looks like an old church but was really cool inside with a lot of culture. Not a place for a quick meal. The water/bread/clean up guys were exceptional. Our server did a okay job, definitely not mr. personality but was good. This it by far the best Italian in St Charles and surrounding areas. Old world Italian flavors and plentiful portions. Before this I would have to go to Taylor street . My new home! Would like to see better desert selections though.”

“Our waitress, Dawn, was an absolute gem. Great server and wonderful personality. The food was outstanding from salad to dessert and everything in between. There was one problem, which Dawn corrected in grand fashion. My wife ordered lamb chops, which she was ultimately told that they were out of. As a replacement, she ordered the pork chops, which were delicious, by the way. To compensate for not having the lamb, the pork chop entree was taken off the bill. Talk about a class move! I like everything about this place and you can be sure we'll be back time and again.”
