“Made a quick stop at the small post office extension. Not sure why I haven't noticed this place before. The aroma is enough to fill you up. The joy and energy of the staff makes this stop even better. So many great options to choose. The chicken noodle soup was delicious. The fresh "off the bone" ham sandwich was rich and savory. They offer a hot bar for lunch as well. It is full of real authentic choices. Clean, well-maintained, great lighting and awesome casual dining. Easy to say this is a better food option over Subway anyday. I don't know why I haven't visited before, but we will be back again!!!”

“This is the second time I have come here and the hospitality and food never ceases to amaze me. The staff is helpful and makes sure your needs are met. I have been here for breakfast and it doesn't disappoint. They give you ample food that doesn't let you go hungry. I suggest you try the country fried chicken with hash brown and eggs. “Kind of typical Chinese restaurant with familiar menu items that is better than your average Chinese takeout place. Food was pretty good, not drowning in sticky/sweet sauce. They didn't charge me for tea, and it was really good. UNFORTUNATELY something seems to have happened to their liquor license? I came for a happy hour drink but they were "temporarily" not serving alcohol. :'( It was quite empty during prime dinner hour.”

“This newly opened Mexican restaurant is absolutely delicious! The food was fresh and seasoned to perfection. Their homemade salsas are excellent! I ordered the Tampiqueña which served a very generous sized seasoned grilled skirt steak, rice & beans, an enchilada, and avocado fixings. It's well worth stopping by for either Dine-In or Carry-Out. There is ample seating inside and can accommodate larger groups. Definitely two thumbs up! Will be returning! YES & YES!”

“This is a must visit place if you are in St Charles. It is more than a good restaurant even though the food is excellent. It is formal yet informal and eclectic. The interior is rustic and somewhat deco with several large antiques and a rarity today table cloths . The back ground music is pleasant and adds to the dining pleasure; you can have a conversation without screaming or listening to the clamoring of dishes. The wate staff is friendly and attentive. The house cab is excellent. The experience is a little pricey but well worth the visit.”

“At first I thought it was not very good, because the sushi wasn't very tasty and it seemed really empty, dark, and dingy. I kept going because my kid loved the novelty of the boats, though. Now the whole staff knows us and welcomes us like family when we walk in. The waitresses get our drinks ready without asking and the sushi chef starts putting my daughter's favorite sushi on the boats. Now I realize that my first impression was influenced by the fact that we were going around 2-3pm, which is slow for any restaurant. Let me tell you, the difference between fresh sushi vs. sushi that has been floating around for awhile is out of this world. Their fresh sushi is phenomenal. I'd recommend going exactly at noon or around dinnertime because there are a lot more people, so the atmosphere is more lively and the floating sushi is nice and fresh. One of my favorite things about this place is that all of the plates are the same price, so you don't have to fixate on the color of the plate like you do at other rotating sushi places. I have not yet tried their hibachi dinners, but dining here has become such a special treat for our family that I surely will someday.”

“I am not familiar with Vietnamese food, however, it doesn't matter, because I know when food is fresh and tasty. That's exactly what this is! The chicken noodle Pho is delightful, and a medium sized order fed two of us for two meals. I also highly recommend the spring rolls. They are chock full of fresh herbs like mint and basil and are extremely fresh tasting and are accompanied by a tasty peanut sauce. Crave-worthy! The cold beef sandwiches are good. Beware of the fresh jalapenos tucked in there! The beef in the sandwiches is a bit chewy, but perhaps that's part of the charm. The french bread it's served on is lovely. Prices are super reasonable. A hidden gem in St. Chuck.”

“I am so excited!!! I saw that they advertised that they had Gluten free bread. I haven't eaten Subway in a long time due to Gluten allergy. I failed to grab the names of the two people who helped me, but they were both super understanding, changed their gloves, and such. I cannot give enough kudos to both of them. Having a food allergy you get a bit scared to go eat at places, but they did not make me feel bad at all for asking for special bread!! :)”

“Excellent service, nice atmosphere, OK food. Our server was Sarah, and she was absolutely wonderful—super friendly and attentive without hovering. The warm pretzel appetizer was really tasty and the fries were decent, but the burger was pretty bland and seemed like it had cooled off by the time we got it. We definitely enjoyed our time here, just weren’t particularly impressed by the food itself. It seems like other people enjoy it, though, so maybe we came on an off night. Still an enjoyable evening!”

“Gluten-free pizza is what brings us here. Pretty good as gluten free goes. Only one size, but with a salad can feed two. Deep dish is good too if you like it that way. I love a flaky thin crust, but not here. Even the extra thin is too doughy for my taste. Salads are family sized but pricey. Try the gluten free...its the best one out there.”
