“Actually I have not been to McDonald's in about a year. I'm pretty sure I was next door at Steak&Shake. Which is always a pleasant restaurant to go to. Service is top notch, but the food could have come to the table a little quicker since that day they were not all that busy. But I noticed it was no fault of the waitresses. They appeared to be training a cook. Which is acceptable. A+ to the wait staff here. Tip them well!”

“This place has an absolutely wonderful staff. We took our six-year-old to this location last Saturday during their fairly busy lunch time. After we placed our order, he happened to notice a display with the different toys included in the kid's meals. He politely went back up to the counter and asked if it was possible for him to get a specific toy. Without a beat, they confirmed which one he wanted and started looking through their toy container for the one he asked for. When they found it and placed it on our tray my son beamed with excitement and thanked them for finding it. Already impressed, and certainly not expecting anything more, who I assume was a shift manager and another employee came out to ask us how everything was and each brought an additional toy for our son. This was all right after a softball team had just finished ordering, wrapping up an undoubtedly busy lunch shift. On top of this, the food was great and the facilities were very clean and well kept. It's rare to find that level of service at any restaurant, let alone a fast food establishment. We don't make it to Galesburg often, but when we do, we will certainly stop in to say hello.”

“The employee that was serving my girlfriend and I was very knowledgeable and experienced in different ways to eat Sashimi. It changed our whole outlook on the dish. They were also very courteous and came by to check often if we needed anything. The food itself was perfectly prepared and exquisite in taste. “Fresh bread, kinda small portion wise. I had a 6 inch combo and was surprised that I needed to ask for lettuce, pickle, mayo, tomato on a sandwich. The sandwich places I enjoyed in the Chicago area, you order a sandwich and the only thing they ask is if you want oil and vinegar on it, all the rest is standard. I thought it odd when i added jalapenos they asked 'was that it?' Well, the service was fine. I'll be checking out the Italian Beef at some point, I'll remember to ask for it hot, sweet and dipped like that kinda sandwich should always come.”

“Excellent food with a huge menu. It is always very clean. The service is good. The nachos are especially good with a lot of options. The tamales are excellent! They give you warm chips and very good salsa while you are deciding what to order. Prices are reasonable. It is easy to see from the road. The parking lot is a little odd but works. Interior decor is fun and bright. The iced tea is fair.”

“It was free pancake day and the waitress we had didn't even mention it, until I brought it to her attention on the bottom of my tab. Its by donation for children, if I had known, I would have had pancakes tonight with a donation. And one of my tenants didn't get her cheeseburger until we asked the waitress where it was and she said she didn't hear tenant order a burger. As far as rest of our meals they were really good. We were at Perkins at 3:45pm July 26th, waitress had shoulder length blond hair and skinny.”
