MISSION BBQ

I really love the Alabama White sauce with the french fries. My favorite meat here is the jalapeno sausage, which might not sound like the first thing someone would order, but it's really tasty. The ribs can be too salty for my taste. The brisket is better some days than others. Overall it's really good. I do think it's strange that they don't regularly offer military discounts for veterans like so many other places in Gurnee do, especially considering the entire inside decor is military and police.

Had a fantastic experience. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, made me feel welcome as soon as I came in. The location is convenient, right off the highway outside the mall. The restaurant itself is charming, decorated with medals and other pieces honoring armed forces and first responders. The best part of my experience though was by far the food. I had reservations about getting BBQ from a chain restaurant but, the brisket made me a believer. Juicy, tender, and paired with the smoky mountain BBQ sauce, it was perfect. I really can't recommend this place enough.

Love! Love! Love! I love the happiness of the crew, the meat is always perfect! My fa write is the 1/2 chicken! I think its rubbed in Old Bay because when I dip it in the NC vinegar sauce it reminds me of crab feasts in the summer! The heat from the rub is delicious! Go support em' and eat good!

Great food. Smoky flavor. Entrees are served dry without BBQ sauce and you may select your own sauce out of 6 different varieties at the table (or at the to go counter). Great fast causal location. Clean and employees are SUPER nice!

Fantastic food with a great staff. They are absolutely wonderful when it comes to allergies. They took all the necessary precautions for my gluten free meal. I was even told what I could and couldn't have. It was nice to see a new restaurant starting off with strong knowledge of allergies! I will be back!
