“The food is really good here. It's one of those places where they give you a bucket of peanuts before your meal so the kids loved it. We were with a large group of 20+ people so the eating area felt kinda crowded and the service wasn't the best but overall a good place to eat. The bar area is large and seems like a good place to get a drink without kids.”

“** If your from the Maryland area and miss crab, dine here and come hungry!** The food is excellent and the restaurant itself is even better. I grew up in the PA/DE/MD area and miss the 1700-1800s era homes, restaurants, etc. That familiar history is found here. Now back to the crab meat. It is HARD to find meat out here that tastes even close to what is found in the Chesapeake and prepared by the docks. I had the salmon risotto, stuffed with crab, and I was not disappointed. Most of the restaurants I visit out here do not know how to prepare crab unless they are looking to serve a mere vessel for butter. Middleton’s not only understands how to prepare crab meat but knows how it needs to be tasted (without butter!). One bite and I am back on the Sassafras. Oh, the risotto quality and salmon flavor deserve to be mentioned... I just can’t get over the crab. This place is about 40 minutes from home, I will not get anything else when I have the chance to come out. Though, all my friends tend to clean their plates.”

“Very nice place. Food is always great. Staff is always friendly. I like the ambiance and the ability to eat outside on the deck when the weather is nice. They also have a great bar with big TVs everywhere. There's even a nice front porch area. There is accessible parking and a ramp to get up to the porch but the doors to get inside are heavy and someone with a physical disability, like myself, has difficulty opening the doors. Also the bathroom counter and sinks are way too high. Even the one in the stall that's handicap equipped is slightly too high. Otherwise I'd recommend this place to anyone.”

“Attended a small adult birthday party at Strawberry Moon and found a new favorite bar. Originally opened as a martini bar, it now serves a wide selection of adult beverages and has great noshes as well. Live music on the lower level was soft enough upstairs we could still have a conversation. I'll be back!!”
