“Love this place! We came opening weekend so the line was a bit long but that’s to be expected. The inside is very clean and modern looking. Theres tables indoors as well as outdoors to dine at. There’s a ton of salad options to choose from otherwise you can build your own salad bowl just the way you like it and they have tons of options for toppings dressings. Only complaint is that it is a bit costly and I wish you could get more toppings without paying extra.”

“The food was delicious!! I had a gyro and fried mushrooms. Hubby had chicken and catfish fillets w/ fries. The mushrooms were legit! They reminded me of one of my favorite restaurants back home! The gyro meat was cut in perfectly. The pita bread wasn't hard at all! So good! The fish was good as well. Hubby said the chicken was amazing! I would definitely recommend trying their food if you haven't. It's really worth it!!!”

I used to work with Subway, I have gone to other sub shops and even other J.M. and I will say this is by far the freshest sub I've had aside from homemade! They didn't skimp on ingredients and made everything exactly to the online order. Friendly staff, just needing some improvement on speed! But undoubtedly this will be my go to sub shop and I live half hour over the border. Totally delicious, fresh and beyond worth the ride! Keep it up! Don't lose your touch!”

“I want to preface this by saying that I think this new location is still getting their feet under them, so I will give them another chance at a later date! I think there is a lot of potential here, and things were only not perfect because they are not used to the volume of orders they're getting here in Grayslake. I think when they get the system down, now that they're trying to be a take-out place, they'll be very good. I honestly felt bad when I went in to order, the workers were obviously harried. They said they were not answering the phone anymore because they were so behind. It was ringing off the hook. They obviously wanted to be doing a good job and were just overwhelmed, so I feel for them. They were still really nice to me even though things were crazy. Had the Fig and Prosciutto sandwich -- there was an enormous amount of fig, but only a little bit of prosciutto and goat cheese. I had to scrape most of the fig off, there was a LOT of it. But the order was correct, and the idea was sound, so I give them credit for that. The bagel chips and dip were fine. I had the tiramisu as well and it was very good! I hope they figure out a system for being a take out place, and maybe hire some more kitchen staff. They are getting enough business here for it to be worth it!”

“Their chicken is pretty solid. Very satisfying and crunchy. The sides come in ample amounts too, and the sauce is really really good. When I ordered I ordered a box combo for here and one to go, they forgot to give me one to go but when I asked about it they began making it immediately and gave me a coupon. Very kind service, and they kept the restaurant very very clean (tables around us got cleaned twice during our 25 minute dinner). There was a super long line and about a 25-30 minute wait, but that was probably since today was the first day. Will come back!”

“I went here for lunch. I had the Scooter Burger. It is a cheddar cheese burger with grilled onions and bacon. The burger was very good. The meat was cooked just right and the flavor was great. I had the meal with fries and a drink. The fries we of the fresh cut variety. They were very good. Cooked just golden brown. They have tables and also a counter along the windows. You can also eat outside. It is very easy the get to via bicycle. The trail runs right along the road on the other side of the street. The unfortunate thing is, they don't have a bicycle rack. It would be a nice addition being so neat the trail. I will return when in the area.”
