“Cannot speak highly enough of the staff but the food is 3x what you would pay elsewhere. The salad bar is good but $15 for a decent salad. $5 for a plane hot dog. I know it's a Highland Park staple but I dont get the appeal overall. Not worth going out of your way for.”

“Okay Panera, service can be great or soso at times. As far as products are concerned, they are consistant with other Panera's outstanding quality. My perferred Panera though is at Bannockburn Green on Route 22 (Half Day Road) and Route 43 (Waukegan Rd.) The service there goes above and beyond to help the customers”

The egg rolls remind me of a childhood chineeC restaurant in Roger's Park. Wendy is the sweetest and will bring your food out to you if you have a problem with the parking lot being crowded. ????”

“Pizza was made in less than 3 minutes, everything was fresh. Table were perfectly clean. Jim made the whole experience, an actual experience instead of just a visit to get food. He knew ahead of time exactly what kind of pizza I came in there for, brought napkins to us since I was carrying our baby and was always smiling making friendly conversation. It felt real, not the small talk you usually get at other places. I’m thankful to have found this place.”

“You can never go wrong with Portillos. Given that this is an Illinois franchise, you can get this food anywhere. Amazing food, and the run like a Swiss watch. Quality is key, and they get food out quickly. Combo sandwich, or a burger with cheese fries is my go to here. I've tried it all, and em never disappointed. Plan accordingly, because the lunch rush comes quick. That says a lot about a place if you ask me. Definitely a stop to make if you are in the Chicago Land area”
