“We have Take Five on our calendar for every Wednesday - we call it Wine Wednesday. However we sometimes enjoy cocktails or my husband a beer. But always great tapas, friends, and plans to return. A unique offering in our small town”

“We stayed in the family suite this past weekend for our granddaughter's baptism. The house is so beautiful! The yard is lovely and we enjoyed spending time on the patio in the evening. The house is very clean, the bedding is incredibly comfortable and the hosts make you feel right at home! We love it and will absolutely recommend to everyone! Thank you!”

“Name needs to updated. This is now called the Falcons nest. It has changed owners. Mondays they have chicken wings. Some of the biggest chicken wings you'll ever see! And there is like 7 different Flavors you can get. This is a small town bar with great friendly people.”

“Waited 30 mins for 2 nugget meals. No one came out to help us or the 3 ppl waiting in front of us for 10 mins. Manager was by herself, and back door propped open after dark. Food was hot and fresh, but it should have been after waiting for so long. Asked for my gravy on the side for my mashed with extra gravy. I was charged 3.99 for a side of gravy. I just wanted one extra scoop of gravy to go on to my mashed. Only asked for it on the side cuz I never get extra gravy when I ask for it on my taters. For as long as we waited I think extra gravy should've been free, for my inconvenience.”

“We made an intentional stop on our way home from vacation - perfect pit stop! Cleanest gas station bathrooms I've ever seen. Easy to get in and out of the gas pumps, lots of spots to let your furry friend stretch their legs (and they even have dog bag stations), and tons of snack/drink/gift choices. Soda fountains have Pepsi and Coke. Fresh potato chips, buttery popcorn, kettle corn, and street corn were delicious. Will be back with a hungrier stomach next time to try more food.”

“Warm and welcoming, cool and creative, Cup and Scone has something for everyone. Cup and Scone is a hidden gem in the quaint town of Pontiac IL, just off Old Rout 66. The ambiance is a mashup of modern-day bistro with old English elements, including a life-size suit of armor. The staff: Rachel and Ale were warm and welcoming, helpful and patient as we asked multiple questions about the menu before settling on our selections. Food: We had the Panini platter. The panini paired well with the micro-green, apple, and cucumber salad. The homemade yogurt was delicious, as were the mini- muffins and scones (of which we tried a variety). Coffee and Tea: The nitro cold brew was smooth and well balanced. This blend, with caramel notes, was fantastic for the coffee coniseur as well as the dabbler. We learned they use 5 different roasts to create a unique blend for every batch. The home-brewed chai was spicy and sweet, floral and creamy with a unique ingredient reminiscent of orange bitters that sets it apart from the run-of-the-mill chai. The Stone Cold, Chai blended with ice cream, was subtle, sweet, and creamy; perfect on a hot day.”

“Fantastic mead, nice atmosphere, and a knowledgeable owner. Made a stop here on a trip home from the Chicago area because we like mead and had not tried any from Unpossible. The owner's recommendations did turn out to be our favorites, but we tried all 7 available options and really enjoyed every one. We ended up taking home a few bottles and are looking forward to those and to another visit in the future.”

“Me and my co workers usually go in almost every single morning and there is always food ready and we are always greeted by name every time we come in. Everyone that works there is always pretty friendly. The store is very convenient since it's in the middle of town. The only downside I would say is that the prices of things in the store have gradually increased over the past few years. But otherwise Casey's is nice.”

“Gas. Sometimes coffee. They need longer hours there though. Hard to get those things when they're closed.”

“I have had a good experience there. The clerks usually are helpful and friendly. My family has the gas discount card which helps, you also receive discounts on other items. Also depends on what time of day you go there, it may be busy, I am sure.”

“I don’t know why everyone is so harsh. I do agree, they weren’t ready to open. Being understaffed is SUPER demanding and difficult to always stay organized and on top. But despite it being busy, the staff is always super friendly and patient. Delivery comes nice and hot. But this place is delicious! I’m so happy we got a new pizza place in town. It’s refreshing and it’s actually good. By far would choose this place over Pizza Hut times a million. Keep up the good work guys☺️”
