“This is a favorite for steaks. People come for the "cheap" steak flavor that is craved by the locals. They serve their namesake, Horseshoes, and they are good. Service is friendly, and the atmosphere has that townie bar feel to it. It's not my favorite place for a quiet meal, but if you are looking for a bar with local flavor you could do much worse.”

“This place was about as authentic as it gets. A Mexican market, that has a restaurant inside. I had tacos, Cecina and Al Pastor. The Cecina was delicious and chewy; I loved it. The Al Pastor was a little dry, but the flavor was good. The service was not very good, we had to wait for the waitress several times, but they were friendly. We bought a peanut, Carmel, sesame dessert from the market on the way out. It was an amazing snack.”

However, their iced tea needs a little work - it's not very smooth. In the beer world, we call it astringent. Typically it's from brewing too hot and allowing the tannins to leach out of the tea leaves (or grain in my case). Just my two cents worth.”
