It was delicious 😋 Just the right amount of food for me and my 11 month old son😉(he had some of mom's eggs) the country fried steak was great, but I loved the potatoes! “5/5⭐s Lakehouse on Pistakee in Johnsburg Ordered the chicken satay special for a starter. It came served over an Asian slaw which I was hestitant about not being a slaw lover. The chicken was beautifully glazed with a teriyaki sauce and grilled to a moist perfection. The slaw reaped into the teriyaki glaze and I devoured every morsel. My entree was the Cajun chicken pasta which is always a Saturday special. It's coated in a delicious lightly spiced creamy cajun seasoned sauce accompanied by chopped green peppers, red peppers, onions, and grilled chicken. It comes with garlic bread that I requested cheese to be added. It's my go to favorite here every Saturday I can. All in all our 2nd home away from home includes delicious meals, amazing bartenders/friends, and good company that makes it feel like a Cheers episode every time. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants good food and good people. Come for the food, stay for the drinks, and get ready to make new friends.”

“Drinks were decently priced. A lot of tables to choose from for seating, but after the kitchen closes you have to go up to the bar for drinks. Two pool tables were open, but one wasn't working. One bartender said he couldn't make a simple "Sex on the Beach" drink - even though the supplies were clearly behind the bar - and yet another bartender was able to make the drink for us.. This bartender was nice and helpful when asking for shot recommendations.”

“Just checked this place out.. food was excellent.. service was good and timely .. interior is clean, fresh and well kept and the outside porch offers a great view of the river and is huge .. definitely going back. Only complaint I have is the place is tricky to find at night.. need better signage and lighting at the entrance.”

“Absolutely love this place! The location is perfect, right on Pistakee Lake, and the atmosphere is great as well! Inside is clean and modern, and love it during the summer when the outdoor deck and bar are open. Staff is amazing....friendly, prompt, and always there for what you need. Food is also excellent. Prices fair as well!”
