“WOW, huge change here at Ponderosa. They're serving Catfish fillets not belly's, the meatloaf was excellent, so was the fried chicken, all fresh, hot and delicious. The staff were on target when we needed refills on our drinks. Everything looked so good, and the salad bar was to die for. Everything fresh, crisp lettuce, etc. Very Happy eating there.”

“I got a chicken bowl on this visit and it had strips of chicken, rice and cheese all together in one bowl. You can get all kinds of good things here like cinnamon biscuits, big hamburgers, delicious 99 cent tacos, taco salad. They have drive through or you can park on their huge lot and go inside. Anytime I have been inside it was clean and wheelchair accessible.”

“The Staff was on top of everything, we came during the lunch rush so I actually understand that they could not be a friendly and engaging as you would want. But they were extremely efficient. My problem is this is a very small restaurant and when eating the buffet you would be unable to move with people coming in / going out and trying to get food. Which if they are going to continue the buffet they should really remodel and have a good area for food. The selection was extremely limited due to the available space for food. If you hate crowded areas then go in somewhere else for lunch, but if that's not an issue this place will do in a pinch.”

“We stumbled upon this cute restaurant when googling places to eat for lunch. It was located inside an old converted bank so it had a lot of charm. The place was a little busy for lunch and sadly there was only one server who was having to wait on the downstairs and upstairs patrons. We ordered the beer cheese pretzels and the pretzels were delicious though the table agreed the beer cheese would use more beer taste. I ordered the tomato bisque as suggested by somebody else's review and it was just ok. Super creamy, but maybe too much so.”

“I really want to give this place a 5 because my order is always right and they treat me right. They have different sizes of nachos that are great with different toppings, and they have burritos, sanchos, criss cut fries you can get plain or with cheese or meat. They have an apple cinnamon dessert that is pretty tasty and their soda is fizzy, sweet and on crushed ice that keeps the soda cold. The only trouble I have ever had is that the wait in drive through takes too long for a 30 min. lunch break.”
