“Walked into this place, where do I begin? The lady at the desk, check out area was extremely kind to me. I ordered cheesy fries, which I am willing to bet are the best fries in Sparta, maybe Southern Illinois. The sweet tea wasn't overly sweet, unlike most places. I also ordered a Bacon Mac and Land Burger, basically a bacon mac and cheese burger. It was good, I'm picky with my burgers but this place was real solid. I hope this place does real well, Sparta needs a place in this building. I ate here when it was Scooterz, I ate here when it was Wayward Pub, the food here is not comparable to those places. In a good way. Nice country music playing, bar is separated enough where you can bring kids here. Service is exceptional.”

“I visited the Sparta location and bought a chicken strip basket with a marshmallow malt. That chicken strip basket was the best ever! The strips were crispy and not over cooked. The fries were the highlight though. I never really eat my fries from anywhere. These were so good that I couldn't stop! Crisp on the outside, soft on the inside, and so fresh! The malt was awesome too! It reminded me of my younger days stopping by the Freeburg location for the best DQ malt in the area.”

The other cooks are just sub-par and my wife found a booger in her drink before from a different cook or waitress. Customer service is decent depending on who you get. Altogether decent but would still say has a lot of room for correction.”
