“So, we decided to try this buffet for lunch and were amazed by how much better it was than the old restaurant. 1. Unlike the waitress from the old management, the lady running the restaurant was professional and really friendly (and actually smiles - I never once saw the old waitress smile). She even came around to each table to make sure everything was ok! 2. The food was very good! Yes, the selection is quite a bit more limited than what they had before, but what they did have on the buffet was fresh and delicious! 3. The price of the buffet was very reasonable ~ $4.99. You typically don’t usually see buffets that cheap. Just so you know: you pay before you eat and the drinks are self-serve. They are currently waiting on the soda machine to arrive, so for now, the sodas are from a can. Very good!”

“We placed a late evening order on a Monday night. The website wouldn't allow us to complete our order online given the hour, so we tried the Mt. Carmel store directly. The young man taking the order worked very hard to make sure he had the order right. We ordered the Super Farouk and wanted a few items omitted, which he did cheerfully. Our pie arrived a little earlier than expected, and the young man making the delivery was very friendly and professional. Our pizza arrived in excellent shape, looked beautiful! Lots of meaty toppings and gooey cheese! The sauce was just right for us - not too sweet, not too acidic. The crust was airy, not too dense. We did order pan style crust, well done. The only aspect I'd like a little different is to actually have that crust more well done next time. I'll just know to order that yummy pizza earlier next time so Bobes can have time to work their magic. Looking forward to having it again!”

“Good place to stop and get a quick bite to eat. For breakfast, the eggs are cooked to order. Recommend a sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich on a biscuit. For lunch, the chicken is excellent. This would be more stars, but the customer service at lunch is lacking. I showed up 15 minutes before closing and asked for fish and was told that they were closing. There weren't any suggestions to help, just "no, we are closing." They have also ran out of food (mashed potatoes) multiple times an hour before closing, but make no attempt to have more ready another day. ”

“Placed an order online to be picked up at 6. I received an email at 545 saying it was ready to be picked up so logically, we went to get it but it hadn't even been started on yet. *It actually ended up being about 30 minutes after my requested time.* Now I understand that they had a sudden dinner rush & I'm in no way upset that my order was not ready by my requested time however, I feel as though I should have been notified that my order would be slightly delayed instead of it being ready for pick up early, or at the very least on time. They also did not provide the extra toppings or special requests we included & 3 people ordered nearly identical sandwiches but none where marked to show the differences. I get that employees can feel pressured to get everything out during rushes but I believe management should have provided the appropriate training to anticipate those times of the day & to triple check visual orders since customers are trusting them read for their personal preferences, opposed to being able to verbalize requests with eye contact. Disappointed this evening but there's always room to improve!”

“I went in and ordered the large Chicago style pizza to go, I'll add photos... I also had the salad bar and a Dr. Pepper while I waited. My total was about 35$. I ate a small salad, which consisted of simple iceberg lettuce and shredded carrots, then added some egg whites and tomato half slices with some banana pepper rings, croutons and creamy ranch dressing. They also had an Italian style and one other dressing. Then I went back to the bar for some antipasta with half bell pepper slices and black olives which was plain, but I added Italian dressing, and I had a small portion of mustard based potatoe salad. The ingredients were fresh as well as the salad and I had a Dr. Pepper to drink which was also fresh. About 3 minutes after eating that my pizza to go was ready. I brought it home 2 minutes away and it was still warm and fresh. The flavor was great!!! Yes, the store itself is outdated and the benches and carpet appeared to come from Chuck E Cheese, plus the staff was very busy.... Which makes this place a local pizza favorite, but the food was good. Although, as the last review states I also heard one young man saying that mf'er something, but he had just walked in from a delivery. I can only imagine what an underpaid pizza delivery boy might say about a cheap tipper. No it's not the best place for a buffet or a family to hangout, but a hard working local or construction worker may not care as much after a hard day's work. I'm a pretty big eater and I only ate 1 slice of pizza after returning home because the salad bar got me full. I'd say this is the way to go. Order to go in the store and take advantage of the tiny salad bar while you wait for 7$ more, that's plus my drink. Then I'll have enough for lunch and dinner tmrw, that's 3 hefty meals for 35$ Maybe 4!!!!!”

“This was my first time to eat at Twin Rivers. I hope it won't be my last. ( I live about an hour north of Mount Carmel and don't get down there often.) My friend and I had the catfish nuggets which were very good. I really liked the creamy Cole Slaw, too. The fact that they give you a choice between tangy and creamy was a pleasant surprise. The wait staff was attentive and pleasant. Prices are reasonable also. I give it two thumbs up.”
