“Great simple place in town, not overcrowded. Food was tasty. Service was great, it was our servers first day and she was a pro from the start. Built a burger and a salad and it was good. Kudos to what seemed like homemade pickles. Look forward to this place when it hits full stride. Edit: oof the shrimp salad although delicious at the time caused some rough food poisoning. Hopefully an isolated incident.”

“The experience here could’ve been better if the service person was more attentive. Everything was hurried and more transactional. Not much warmth in the service at all unfortunately. In fact, after serving each thing, the lady serving us was just rushing back. Never returning to ask “how is everything going?” There were that many people that she was serving. The bread that was served was very chewy and not easy to bite off. I wanted to tell our server about it but could not get a word in since she was rushing constantly. Then I noticed that other tables were also struggling with their bread as well. We got: Italian beef rolls for appetizers - tasty and good but not great. Deep fried so definitely not healthy at all but worth trying. Gnocchi - which was just OK and nothing exceptional for the price charged for it. Eggplant Parmesan - which was very good and differently worth ordering if you go. The ambiance of the place is very festive and joyful overall. Liked that very much. When it was time to pay, the tip options were: 20% and above Hmmm… For the service we received, that did not seem fair. When you go to a pricey place like this, service is more important than even the food in my opinion. And just because of that alone, I would not recommend this place 👎”

“I’ve driven by this place several times over the past few years and finally went this morning for breakfast. We got there a little after 7am and it was not too busy. It started to get busy when we were leaving around a little after 8am. There is tons of room to spread out in this restaurant and you do not feel like you are right on top of one another while you eat. They have a large menu with tons of options. I do like that they have a lot of build-your-own options for their selections. I went with the build-your-own breakfast skillet with hash browns, 3 eggs, breakfast sausage, green peppers and onions with a side of rye toast. They give you large portions for your meal and that was across the board for all our meals. Food tasted great and service was great, as well. I’m glad that we finally made the trip here for breakfast and we will be back again soon. Enjoy!”

“My favorite Starbucks in the entire area for three reasons - the staff is phenomenal, friendly, warm, and FAST. Always had a great customer service experience, every time. Second, the coffee is REALLY tasty here. And finally, they ACTUALLY add my +2 espresso shots...I've had three other places and two Dunkins lie about that, and it's not cheap to add on. I can taste the difference and it's right every time here.”

We started with the Guinness wings, then husband had the Guinness Beef Stew in a bread bowl and I had the pub burger. Everything was delicious! “This ice cream parlor is located in the downtown Plainfield area. Interior has a rustic old look which fits the downtown area. Ice cream is above average. I tried the 2 scoop cup with zanzibar chocolate and chocolate peanut butter. Ice cream was rich in flavor and quite delicious. They have a nice patio area to sit outside and "people watch" on a busy weekend night.”
