“Walker’s Bluff was the first winery I visited after moving to Southern Illinois from San Diego, California. It was around Christmas time and the tasting room was beautifully decorated. I loved the rustic feel. I thought the food choices a bit more appropriate for a bar than a winery, but everything tasted great! Their wine is amazing! The staff was so friendly and gave great recommendations regarding the area when they heard we were new to town. The wedding area is so amazing I wish I knew more engaged couples to recommend it to! If you are in Southern Illinois and love wine, you must come here!”

“This Hardee's is a nice fast food establishment. In my experience the staff is always friendly, polite, and prompt. I've never dealt with anyone unpleasant. The dining area is modern, comfortable, and clean. The inside is quiet and calm from the times I have eaten inside. The food offering is varied enough for a fast food restaurant. While the food has not always been at 100% to my liking it is most often at least at 80-90% good.”

“Loved it! First time eating here. There was plenty on my plate. Had catfish, fried okra, and corn nuggets. I never eat tartar sauce but I loved theirs so much I asked for more! Food came rather quick so I checked to ensure it was not raw. It was pure perfection! The staff were nice and courteous. My compliments to the chef. My date had a full slab of ribs and fries. He really enjoyed his ribs. He said they were cooked just right and he loved the flavor.”

“Really good pizza and friendly staff; what’s not to like? I ordered a small pizza (10”) with the request of no sauce, and go nuts with the cheeses. What I got was a perfect two-meal pizza with delicious cheeses, a little bit of olive oil, and a crispy thin crust. The texture/flavour combination was as close to perfect as I’ve ever tasted in pizza, though I have to admit that between the olive oil & excessive cheese the pizza was very greasy — to be expected, and not a mark against Joe’s. I’d have taken a photo of the gorgeous pie when it arrived before me, but alas: I only remembered once the first slice was gone and the second was well on the way to joining it.”
