“Arrived shortly before noon on a Friday. The atmosphere is an open friendly pizza restaurant. One of those that you can hang out and enjoy your pizza. Service was excellent, even with it being during lunch hours. Employees were courteous and efficient. The food was amazing and I enjoyed the new flavors that made the pizza taste so much better. The sauce and fresh ingredients are a part of what makes up the new flavors. They are very generous with their toppings which makes a well made pizza with ratio to crust, sauce and toppings. Had both thin crust and hand tossed pizzas cooked to perfection. I also ordered an Italian salad that was full of toppings and flavor. This isn't a huge amount of lettuce with a few toppings sprinkled on top, the toppings are a part of the salad and can be tasted in every bite. Overall the best pizza experience in a very long time.”

“We were very pleased. We went on January, 1st 2024 - opening day. The restaurant is clean, updated, and modern. There are 3 hot food buffet steam tables, and two cold dessert and salad buffets. There were plenty of available and courteous and attentive staff. The hot food was fresh and tasty. Even thought the restaurant had only been open for less than four hours and nearly every table was occupied, there was plenty of food. The only hiccup I observed was a guest requesting the potatoes be charred because he prefers burnt, and he was aggregated that he had to wait to have them prepared.”

“I had a delightful lunch with a close friend. The food was absolutely delicious. The person who prepared our meal was incredibly friendly and efficient. Despite the potential for noise and busyness, it was surprisingly quiet, allowing us to have a pleasant conversation. My friend mentioned that he had noticed the noise level in the past can be high. This charming restaurant is locally-owned, and I highly recommend it!”

“They are a new restaurant. They have kinks to work out. The food is good. The service is slow. They run out of food specials early. I have been here three times. Dinner Friday was the worst. They ran out of catfish early. Lunch was bad. Service was very slow and the waitress was Mrs. (Lack of) Personality. Breakfast was good but the place was almost empty. If they work out the problems quickly they will survive. Try them you will like the food. Update - They have greatly improved the service and availability of food items. Everything has been awesome the last several times we have been to Turners. Service is much better than before. The food is always very good. Prices are reasonable. Turners is a place I have no problem recommending for a meal. They have a separate meeting area that can be reserved for various events.”

“Pub and bar food are my favorite, and in southern IL our options are really limited for this type of food. When this place opened I was really excited because it was exactly what this area was missing. So after it opened I ate there a few times and I was under whelmed. Something was always lacking. Service was just not as good as it could have been. They would run out of food. The food just did not have that "wow" factor. Even the AYCE wings were just muh. It was a place I wanted to love, but could not. I stopped going and swore off the place. So recently I heard they had gone through some management changes. I notice a new direction with their food. New 'Burger of the Day' items being offered. Each day of the week a specialty gourmet burger was offered. They all sounded amazing. Me and the wife go there for lunch to give it another try. One word: "Wow". The food and service was simply second to none. We went on a Friday and the burger of the day was 'The Hedonist". Simply put it was the best burger I have ever had. My wife loved her buffalo chicken salad. Great local beer selection on tap, and the beers are served in thick tall mason jars which was a really nice touch.”

“Tried The Vault Cafe for the first time. We were immediately seated upon entering. Waitress was friendly and helped with menu suggestions. My wife tried the suggested Good as Gold breakfast and absolutely loved it. I tried the French Dip which was delicious. Prices were right on. The old bank setting was a nice change of scenery from the usual local restaurants. May have to try the table in the vault some time. Will definitely return to try more menu items.”
