“At first, I thought my order was completely wrong, getting the wrong egg bites and my drink was made wrong (it wasn't, I was just used to two shots instead of one). When I came inside to ask about it, the staff were so kind and understanding. Though I said the egg bites I got were still good, they still offered to replace them! They also gave me an extra shot in my drink for free. Amazing, helpful people. Absolutely try it.”

“My #1 BBQ place in Rockford area. I haven't been to all of them, but this my kind of BBQ. I have eaten BBQ all over the country and this would definitely be in my top 10. I had a pork and brisket combo sandwich, and pork potato. One of biggest requirements for good BBQ is that it is not smothered in sauce, and is good enough to eat without sauce. Ritchie's definitely makes it right. Coleslaw is good, beans are alright, but not a fan of the cornbread.”

“Quaint neighborhood pub that's close enough to walk to. They have a nice menu of signature cocktails and canned craft beers, and a food menu that offers a small variety of delicious bar noshes. So far, I have enjoined the Chips & Dips Board, and it was good. Could do better with homemade dips, but they're just getting started, and I think they have a small kitchen. We inquired about the possibility of Sunday Funday, and they do have a selection of Bloody Marys and mimosas, and plans are in the works for a breakfast menu. The building used to be a mechanics, so it's nice and airy, with seating inside and out. It's small, but cozy. I love the map of the 8th ward on the wall as a focal point. And living in the neighborhood makes it a place where I want to hang on the regular.”

“The fries were awesome but my burger was not good at all. I would suggest making the hamburger patties by hand and not using some frozen patty that's too thin and doesn't taste good. The bun was toasted nicely. My friend had the Italian beef and he loved it and his fries. Please work on the burgers, especially since you have a sign claiming you have the best burgers. The gyro is the best I've ever had.”
