I have to stop here and grab one almost every time I'm in the mall - quite often, given how much I love wandering around Orland Square even if it's just to window shop and I buy nothing but a pretzel - and heaven help me if I don't at least save *some* of the pretzel to share later. Certainly no one's going to believe that I didn't get one! (In truth, their pretzels are really much too yummy for any of that there "sharing" nonsense I mentioned. The "true" expectation is that you'll just bring everyone else their own pretzel to enjoy, rather than having to actually share your own yummy snack.)”

Other than that food was decent, we had the jibarito bestek plate. The rice could need work it was on the mushy side, plantines we felt was a bit to hard for us and underseasoned.”

“This was my first visit. I wanted to try the Krispy Krunchy Chicken brand. Even though it's located in a grocery store, don't be fooled. They were in the middle of making a new batch. Instead of waiting, I returned after errands. It was worth it. The portions were generous (large wings), and the chicken reminded me of how fried chicken used to taste. The grocery store has more ethnic foods to offer as well. The service all around was great! The family meal did not disappoint. My new favorite go-to!”

“Great customer service and tasty GF & Vegan treats! I live out of state and was looking for a GF and vegan place to send something sweet to my daughter for her birthday. My other daughter found Scoops Dessert Bar online so I called them to see if they deliver on Sundays, which they do! Brittany (who I spoke with and is also the owner) was patient with all my questions and flexible with my change in delivery time (no delivery fee!). I ended up ordering a variety pack of four ice cream sandwiches. Brittany said she would write a birthday greeting on the box. They were delivered at time requested. My daughter was thrilled by this “sweet” surprise! She sent the attached photo and said she tried a bit of the cookie and it was delicious. She also asked me for their info so she can visit them in person (they make GF churros every other weekend, next on her list to try!).”

“Warm and welcoming, cool and creative, Cup and Scone has something for everyone. Cup and Scone is a hidden gem in the quaint town of Pontiac IL, just off Old Rout 66. The ambiance is a mashup of modern-day bistro with old English elements, including a life-size suit of armor. The staff: Rachel and Ale were warm and welcoming, helpful and patient as we asked multiple questions about the menu before settling on our selections. Food: We had the Panini platter. The panini paired well with the micro-green, apple, and cucumber salad. The homemade yogurt was delicious, as were the mini- muffins and scones (of which we tried a variety). Coffee and Tea: The nitro cold brew was smooth and well balanced. This blend, with caramel notes, was fantastic for the coffee coniseur as well as the dabbler. We learned they use 5 different roasts to create a unique blend for every batch. The home-brewed chai was spicy and sweet, floral and creamy with a unique ingredient reminiscent of orange bitters that sets it apart from the run-of-the-mill chai. The Stone Cold, Chai blended with ice cream, was subtle, sweet, and creamy; perfect on a hot day.”
