“We were stuck in 2 hour standstill traffic on 69 because a truck lit on fire and there was construction limiting the space to one lane. We finally were able to get off the highway and stop by this McDonald's. For the incredible amount of people, this McDonald's actually did a great job keeping up with the influx of people... Even addressing a few people's complaints with their order in a timely manner. The good was prepared as to be expected and came out in a timely manner. For a rest stop McDonald's, it was about as clean as you'd expect- there seem to always be flies behind the counter. I also was not happy that they had a very political news station on the TV. I don't care what affiliation it was- it is inappropriate to play triggering TV for customers. Play gameshowes, the weather, a movie network... Literally anything else. My child was with me and I didn't want her watching politics or news that can be upsetting, so I faced her away from the TV.”

“Our mom and dad, Janice and Buford aka Bill have ate here everyday. Well Janice has past away and dad's in funeral home. When we come to town this is where we go. We live in Cicero so it's not everyday we can do it. Mostly on Mondays. We always have friendly faces and not that long of wait if you go inside. Food always fresh. Loving it at GAS CITY McDonald's.”

“We have always made comments about wanting to try Payne's when we go to Indy. We finally tried it tonight and we will definitely be back. The bangers were amazing! I almost stole my husband's entire meal of it. I really appreciated how almost every staff member did something to help keep us satisfied by clearing dishes, filling water, and checking on our meals. It is small but has a great atmosphere. Everything was perfect!”
