“This is such a cute little restaurant, and the staff are super friendly! There's a good variety of shareables and artisan pizzas. I ordered the brie toast, vegetarian Forager pizza, and miso pickled eggs. The brie toast and Forager pizza tasted pretty good, but they were quite charred, and I could taste the burnt in some bites. The portion sizes are modest, and the prices quickly add up if you order more than one item to try. It's a nice place to go out on a date with friends, etc.”

“The place to boulder if you want to meet people. There is a ton of people every weekday evening and still a lot of people during the weekend as well. The membership is slightly expensive ($75/month), but if you attend the yoga and dance classes like me, it is so worth it.”

“Command coffee was great! We went for a meeting and there were lots of seats for groups to chat. The staff was nice and I got their nice mocha! My friends liked the pastries they got. The staff was super chill that we stayed till closing. We loved the atmosphere and vibes!”

“Black Leaf is incredible. My partner and I stopped here on a cross-country drive after 8 months of traveling and our visit to Black Leaf was a food highlight of our trip. The owners are extremely friendly, generous, personable and so kind. The place had really good energy, music and ambiance. The food was so amazing and inspiring- I’ve been plant based for 2 years and vegetarian for almost all of my life and this is some of the most creative and flavorful vegan food I’ve ever had. We loved meeting the owners and hearing their stories and they offered to keep in touch and give us recommendations for vegan spots around the world. We wanted to stay for longer but unfortunately needed to hit the road. If you’re in Indianapolis or driving through Indianapolis, make sure to stop here. I wanted to try everything on their menu, we got chicken sliders, gluten free Mac and cheese, green smoothies and jarsagna. I can’t wait to visit black leaf again in the future.”

“What a wonderful surprise introduction to a local business , absolutely made our weekend (plus one with a guest and a pup!) First off, I didn’t figure the location just cause I didn’t see the cafe right off the bat when we drove in. Front desk was happy and courteous enough to explain the details. My take - cool location, where you can work, study, chill, workout, climb, do yoga, play basketball or simply put enjoy watching shows on the projector screen. I tried the no-caffeine hot chocolate and the maple cinnamon latte. Asked for extra hot, I could have taken hotter but flavors were nutty, not so sweet, slight kick of cinnamon, hint of maple with delicious oat milk. We also tried Impossible Burger and Vegan cheeseburger soup. We didn’t want meat and we were WOWd with the options. Delicious, meaty, crunchy and so delicious! Most of all, they allow PETS! We were on TOP of the world, we had a great time with my pup and she got to pose for the instagram page! What more could I ask for! I am definitely coming back!!! Parking - no issues Location - no traffic Membership - monthly First time - Free visit (try it out!!!)”

“First timer and the experience was everything! There was a 45min. wait but it was a Sunday and normal brunch rush. Our servers name was Blake and he was nothing less than exceptional as well as very accommodating. I love when a server knows the food they serve and that can also give good suggestions. I ordered the Cinnamon sugar bites & the Fajita Bowl-SO GOOD! Very fresh and filling. Me, My girlfriend and friends felt welcomed and definitely will be back!! Thank you 🖤”

“The lovely people here made me what is easily the juiciest, most flavorful, well-seasoned pork tenderloin in 100 miles. It’s really an authentic tonkatsu in pork tenderloin sandwich form. If it were served instead with shredded cabbage salad with sesame dressing, rice, and miso soup, it would easily stand up to any Japanese restaurant tonkatsu around, including what I have eaten in Osaka, Kyoto, or Tokyo. By the way the sandwich was constructed, it is obvious that the person who made it cares a lot about the art and craft of preparing food. The bread to meat ratio was ideal. The way the mayo was applied and the way the tomatoes were placed. The same goes for the gumbo, which I was too full to finish. I don’t have pictures because I devoured the food. City Market is a real pain to get to right now, but the food at this place is worth the effort. To me, this is a gem in Indianapolis like Mitra Da Dhaba or Workingman’s Friend. I’m confident that anything you order from there will be made with the utmost care. The only things unappealing to me about the place are its signage, websites, and social media.”

“Small hidden jewel located inside Circle Center Mall. Not a huge selection but do they have some tasty flavors. We loved the banana cream pie and cappuccino frozen yogurt. The smoothies and totally different as they use frozen yogurt. Loved the flavor and taste of Froyo smoothies. The staff was helpful and courteous. Defiantly a place to stop next time we are in downtown Indy.”

“The atmosphere was lively buy not overwhelming. Was greeted upon entering and quickly guided to a table. Our table service from Bianca was wonderful. She had a great demeanor making you feel welcome but also offered service. Both of the meals my wife and myself ordered were wonderful. Good portions and temperature appropriate. The price is a little high to go everyday but a nice break in a daily routine.”

“Friendly and helpful staff. Very clean and friendly vibe. This is the perfect local Indy business you want to support. I definitely miss Artie, but he left behind a great business that is being taken care of by good hands. The food here is unbelievably delicious, if you've never had a meal by Artie's then definitely stop in.”

“Average gas station. Note that during evening hours the doors may be locked and you might have to walk up to the window for service. Also note that sometimes the clerk isn't always at the window so you may have to wait a couple minutes. There can also be shady patrons hanging around. Other than that it's fine here.”

“everything on this menu is one of a kind and delicious. Home made, scratch kitchen kinda place. The inside was cute and eclectic, but very hot and stuffy. Their lavender sweet tea was so so so delicious I could have had a gallon. I loved their unique selection on their menu!”

“Holy cow — that cinnamon roll French toast! All the sweet breakfast options I’ve tried here are truly amazing. From the nutty monkey cakes to the red velvet French toast, they’re all rich, decadent and delicious. There’s even a featured sweet cake that changes regularly. I also appreciate that you can have real maple syrup (for a charge) which is pretty rare. Sweet breakfasts are clearly their main thing. Yet there’s still plenty of options to enjoy a healthier breakfast here. Any of the scrambles or the HUGE omelets can be made with egg whites. And there’s a great variety of veggies to add in to their dishes. Again, they have lots of delicious fresh juices, though they’re a bit pricey. Their regular brewed coffee is not great, though it gets the job done. We typically sit at the bar where we like interacting with the staff. Even when the place is very busy, they’re always friendly.”

“Henry's is great. Wide open & accessible, the coffee is tasty, the food options are many, & the cinnamon roll was fantastic. The dining area is perfect for walkers, canes, & wheelchair using customers. The owner is pro and friendly, just ask for whatever you may need. The prices were fair & reasonable. Everything is dressed at order so make sure to have a minute to spare, it will not be wasted.”

“Just visited this location, friendly staff, fast service, and good food, even during the lunch rush. I feel like I went somewhere nicer than McDonald's for lunch! My only critique is that the men's restroom could have been cleaner, but it wasn't disgusting.”
