Greeted with a smile every time. Staff is friendly and accommodating. GM is personable and there to ensure a great experience. Food is always cooked to perfection. Beer is a bonus! Always leave satisfied and more!
Would have given this a 5 star review but unfortunately the service stinks. I have been here several times and the food is amazing but the staff is clueless about their product. I am gluten free and allergic to several items so I order very specifically to make sure I am good. The first time I was here I ordered a burger and fries with a gluten free bun. Burger was great. Fries are breaded so I couldn’t even eat them. They didn’t offer a refund or anything just sorry. Went again today and got a burger plain with gluten free bun and fresh cut fries because those are not breaded. Got a burger with everything and garlic fries which I hate and I’m allergic to onions which was on the burger. They were frustrated that I would t take the onion off and just eat it anyway. They finally got me a fresh one made and fresh fries but now I have wasted a whole lunch break to be unsatisfied. They Definitely need help in the customer service part of their job.
The Mug is a lovely place. My last visit, I did not get ice cream, which a friend declared a crime, probably true. The ice cream is very good. The sandwiches are good, but I wish the default cheese was not bland American. Whatever. Still good sandwiches. Get the parmesan garlic fries. The sweet potato fries and standard fries are missing something. Be warned that the garlic flavor will linger until the next day, but it's a small price to pay for the best fries on the menu.
The Mug has a great atmosphere. It's very nice in there and the food is very good. It's a good place to hang out with a few people or even by yourself just for a lunch break. The fries are worthy of worship and I could go there just for the fries (although they need some salt). But I recommend this place for when in the area. My only issue was the chicken tasted burnt.
Great breaded pork tenderloin, the meat itself would have been delicious on its own. Juicy, tender, and full of flavor. Not stupid big, but good sized. Garlic fries are excellent, too. Had a bite of my wife's Sloppy Joe, would gladly order one. Looking forward to working through their menu! Friendly service, clean dining area.
