“$14 for a Shapiro's sandwich is a VALUE. Most folks can't finish one and enjoy a second meal later in the day. Their famous mac'n'cheese is finished with a fast broil so the brown edges on top are delicious and intentional. Anyone complaining about the price or service is in my opinion passing on bad information, unfamiliar with the rich tradition of Kosher delis and don't understand the quality being served (or perhaps are complaining for the joy of complaining). I have been going to Shapiro's since I was a boy, and I'll continue to go until I die. They are a tradition, a mainstay, and serve the highest quality food from scratch in the city.”

The recommendations were on point and each dish that came out had a wonderful flavor. Just excellent food itself is usually enough for me to leave a good review but I regret that I can't give them even more for the service and experience at Sullivan's!! It was such a memorable night for our group and a lot of it was due to the warm ambience and attentiveness!! Come here for great food and even better experience!”

“Great pizza selection. The service is a little slow. But it's worth it. The pizza's are amazing. Kim's pie is a great choice. The place is quiet and wine selection was decent as well. Usually the wait is not bad , wish they took reservations though. If you are ever in this neck of the woods definitely give it a try.”

“Last week we celebrated our anniversary at Ruth's Chris downtown. This is our go-to location in Indy for fine dining. While the dinner, as usual, was superb, it's always the service that makes us feel valued and keeps bringing us back two or three times a year. This visit was no different and we're already looking forward to August for a birthday celebration! (Oh, the manager stopped by and gave us a $25 gift card for our next visit. A gesture that was not expected, but certainly appreciated!!!)”

“Great service and food quality is top notch. It's on Hilton honors dining rewards so I try to go to any of the Indy locations when I'm here. Had the create your own omelette. Delicious! Their hot sauce is top notch. Even bought a bottle to take home. Only thing I would change is to serve ice with water by default. Had to ask for it. Not sure why they don't provide ice automatically because the water is not even close to cold.”

“We came during their Sunday noon - 8 pm happy hour before a massage, and we stumbled into a great deal. The sushi was good but not the worlds freshest, still good though and a decent selection. They did not have very many eel options. They have a large vegan and vegetarian selection with everything labeled in the menu. They also had $4 house lime margaritas that I would absolutely recommend. The staff was courteous and quick, and I would go back if I was in the area and craving some sushi.”

“Special birthday dinner with friends. Bread basket as a shared appetizer was plentiful and herbed butter and dipping sauce delicious. Salads were lovely, entrees of chicken, scallops and red snapper beautifully plated with veggies included were all excellent. Dessert of triple chocolate tart to share was a decadent end to the meal. Meals a bit pricey, but industrial decor was well done to make it elegant and amazingly quiet for conversation.”

“A little on the pricey side for BBQ. Had the brisket, fries and collard greens. The collards we're excellent, not cooked to mush like many places. The fries in a "bone marrow butter" topped with fresh slices of jalapenos were very good. Half of my brisket was more fall apart like a roast and had lost the smoke flavor. The other half was well sliced and had wonderful smoke flavor. The sauces were OK but none of them stood out. I ended up using a mix of the KC sauce that had a strong molasses flavor and the classic sauce for balance. Bring down the cost a little bit and keep the brisket more consistent and I'd be back more often.”

“We visited on a Saturday morning right when they opened. They had booked a party for a youth soccer team, and it was very busy. We were seated right away and our orders taken. Having a large group of young people could have made for a chaotic experience, but the wait staff and manager did an excellent job. They have a wide variety of beers on tap and are brewed locally. The menu is quite expansive and has a wide variety. Our food was very good and the beer I ordered was great. Overall, a great experience.”

“Holy WOW!! Found this gem on a recent shopping trip. So much more than just an ale house. The food is absolutely impeccable! You get a whole lot of bang for your buck here, be prepared to ask for a to-go box. The portions are massive, but the prices are low. Super value, for sure. I had the club sandwich, it was absolutely the best club I've ever had. I tried a few bites of my friends goose melt and that was great too. The star of the show went to the breaded cauliflower wing things. Oh my word, they are AMAZING!! I Dont even like cauliflower, but I really, really liked those. They have a large selection of beers, at decent prices. The beers I had all tasted very good. Overall I had a great experience here, would highly recommend.”

“Fantastic!!! I was absolutely floored with how good the steak enchiladas are here. Next time the family wants Mexican food and some ice cream I will make the hour trip just to go to Chris’. Very clean and staff is very friendly. Only complaint would be they don’t have iced tea, but if that’s the only complaint then they are doing great!
